#1 Copenhagen Games IRL Footage (& VODs) in TF2 General Discussion

Hi

I am in the late stages of making a copenhagen games 2019 fragvideo and I would like to obtain some IRL footage from the LAN to include. If anyone has any IRL footage (preferably with some motion but not required) that they are willing to share I'd love to include it in the video intro. You will be appropriately credited for its use.

I'd also like to add onto this that I was looking for the vods but they don't seem to be on kritzkast's twitch or youtube. Since twitch broadcasts expire I'm assuming someone from kritzkast downloaded them and kept them somewhere, and it'd be nice if those could be reuploaded also if they aren't already on the internet somewhere.

#49 Se7en or Froyotech, who's better? in TF2 General Discussion

until someone on 7 can pull as much weight for them as habib does for froyotech i think froyo have the edge for the time being.

then again 7's new roster is unproven so nobody knows (and i guess we won't know since froyo are dodging l o l)

#2 Demos for fragmovie in Projects
LemonStarDudeI don't mind about video files (eg .mp4) or demos.

i'm not going to tell you what to do but if you want consistent quality and fragvid features such as in game settings, hud etc then you should consider only accepting demos. recording things yourself also gives you much more flexibility.

i love it when people make community videos so looking forward to seeing what you come up with!!

#77 CastingEssentials Spectator Plugin in Projects

Personally I put CE in my own custom rather than using lawena (it doesn't activate unless you run with -insecure so doesn't impact normal usage of tf2) so you could try that maybe? its a bit awful but it works for me at least.

are you sure lawena isn't detecting it as a HUD? i don't see why it would make a difference but it has a tendency to do that sometimes and deleting resource/ui could work.

#27 You guys were right. in Off Topic

i'm trying to offer the guy some genuine advice (based on experience, yes). i guess some of you don't really see people as people and think you're talking to nothing online but i don't really believe anyone is a bad person and i think its sad when things like this happen and people leave the community.

#21 You guys were right. in Off Topic

whether this is a sincere apology or not i doubt most people will take it seriously (i somewhat believe it personally) unless you actually stick around and prove that you don't want to keep being toxic to people anymore.
i get it and i know how stressful it is to have people rag on you and how that increases the likelihood of toxicity, and if you think leaving is the best thing for you then do it but its important that you ARE serious and you prove it or you'll never be taken seriously again.
