My question still stands, how does this help the tournament if someone who has the advantage of playing NYC and then is forced to play on the Chicago one? And doing server switches each arena is a bit of a hassle IMO

Since the server is based in NYC this will cause EU players to have a high ping, I haven't played against a lot of EU players but I have played against lagging players who skip around some times and inhibit my skill. Is this a general case when an EU plays on a US server? Or does it just give them the disadvantage?

Hey there, I was wondering if someone knew a quick way to get a hold of extine, I was wanting to ask him if he would be interested in shout casting the MGE tournament I have coming up. I don't want to creep on him and randomly add him lol

So as some of you will have read I am hosting a 1v1 MGE tournament in a few weeks and I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter about classes/weapons.

My thoughts on the matter is that it should be Soldier only, and you can use whatever loadout you wish.

Now, this is a hindrance for people who main Demoman, or Scout so I want to hear your opinions on the matter. The problem is, a really good Scout will easily destroy Demo/Soldier most of the time, so we can't have mixed classes IMO.

Also, should I allow for more than 32 players, since it seems to be filling up quickly?

So in two weeks from today (Wednesday the 25th) I will be hosting a 1v1 MGE tournament on my server, you get a chance to win an unusual, two will be given away! No entrance fee!

There will be two unusual's given away. Not yet determined, but the MVP one (The one given to the winner of the tournament (Doesn't get knocked out)) will be ~60 USD. The second will go to the first round loser's winner (After the winner of the tournament is decided a second one will be held, consisting of the losers from the first rounds and the winner of that one will receive the other unusual) This one will be more like ~40 USD.

Sorry EU, this server is hosted in NYC, USA. Although, you can enter, you will most likely have ~100+ ping. I will leave that up to the community to decide if you should be able to play, I haven't had a lot of experience playing EU players so I don't know how much their lag harms the others skill.
