I have the exact same issue with a gtx 560, would be cool to know if there is a fix.

termoBecause best would assume u have all the information required, but in tf2 that is rarely the case. In chess eg i would say you could make the best decision because all the information is available to you ie. you can see it on the board
Although there is a finite amount of possible moves and sequences in chess and you even have all the information available to you, the computational complexity of figuring out the objectively best move (or the one that forces a checkmate) is so high that not even the best computers we have at the moment come even fractionally close to being able to compute that move. Even just finding a set of optimal moves is extremely difficult.
So in tf2 where you have a near infinite (for any practical purpose) amount of moves and sequences possible and incomplete information available the chances of one being able to figure out the objective best move by any computational device that will ever exist in the universe seems quite slim.
Deseanare au newbie mixes a thing?
Unfortunately, they are not.
Best way to learn is to get a team, but if you can't just keep on pugging.
I've used esdf for a while now and have really liked it. It's super nice to be able to bind weapons to keys you can hit with your pinky so you don't have to take fingers off the movement keys when switching. The major downside is having to bind esdf for movement in every single other game you play so it doesn't feel odd (or just get used to switching between esdf and wasd).
I liked it when I tried it yet i used the ingame accel which got weird if your fps drops. Would've kept on using it otherwise.
I too think you are an arse, mewtwo.
To think you wouldn't get mostly american views on a largely american forum is quite naive.
Couldn't you use a sv_cheats toggle to toggle it though?
I'm pretty sure that the mechanics of tf2 are find and don't impede its growth at all, and in my opinion changing them would just destroy what is already an almost perfect team based fps (disregarding hats and growing fps problems). It's completely just an issue of exposure and audience. Tf2 has little exposure and way to many casual gamers who don't care that much about actually being good at the game, or they just don't know the competitive side exists.
The shotgun has 6 rounds, and i don't think its that hard to look at your ammo count every few minutes and see how much you have left, keeping track of it isn't that hard.
fraacTwilitlordHow can you not read that and not understand the implied "find a way around -insecure and we'll ban your ass"?
I hoped they were more affronted at the bypass of -insecure than anything else. As I understand it, new Openplugin works like (a) Mumble overlay and (b) lots of cheats. Valve could have identified it as being equivalent to either.
By the way, how does anyone without tranparent viewmodels know when they've switched to shotgun after running out of ammo with r_drawviewmodel 0?
The ammo count changes
OblivionagewafflebWhat exactly makes the game so bad? The fact that every PC FPS player likes to jump on the bandwagon and assume so? To be frank nobody in this thread has made any good arguments other than what seems to be "I don't like it and I won't play it"
I'm sure if you sat down and played a pug or a scrim you'd probably have a good time
do they even have pugs or scrims LOL i think they just practice their quickscopes and dolphin dives. no strat talks. nothing. It's not that the game is bad it's just their competitive scene is much more dumbed down compared to other games. Theres not much to the game when it comes down to strategy. it's like trying to make a competitive sport out of a game of catch.
isn't that called football?
