#6 Left Handed Mouse Thread in Hardware
TrekkieI use a steelseries sensei. Its a really nice mouse and its ambidextrous.

Yeah I use the sensei as well. It's great (if you use hard pads). Plus, I'm right handed and I actually use all 4 side buttons so it's nice to have.

#4 Problems about viewmodel in Q/A Help

Don't apply any settings in either the options/advanced options and it won't change your viewmodel_fov. Viewmodel_fov still affects you if you have viewmodels on or not, as you can see the bullets (we call them tracers) coming out of your gun. Basically, it just puts the tracers + sparks where the viewmodel would've been if you had viewmodels on and just doesn't draw the gun.

viewmodel_fov 0 (no tracers/sparks)
viewmodel_fov .001 (sparks, but no tracers)
viewmodel_fov -100 (sparks+tracers are in the middle of the screen)
viewmodel_fov 5 (sparks+tracers come out of the lower right hand corner of the screen)

#9 Sony Vegas problem in TF2 General Discussion
pie_herohe says its at 29.97 fps

No clue then. Is he using a custom profile to render the video? That's all I could think of other than possibly trying to turn off gpu encoding. I just keep vegas 9 handy for situations like this.

#5 Sony Vegas problem in TF2 General Discussion

Don't set the fps over or even at 60. You have to use the dropdown and set it at one of the preset values such as 59.99fps, otherwise Sony Vegas will error on your render. This happens in version 11 but not in version 9.

Good player. Low/mid level rapper though. Also gave me free shit for no reason so that's cool too.

#13 Any decent sata 3 drives (non-ssd) in Hardware

Picked up the WD 2TB Black. It was a little on the expensive side ($200 after tax), but it's a great drive from what I've seen. Hopefully it doesn't fail lol.

#6 Any decent sata 3 drives (non-ssd) in Hardware
brownymasterDave_Well I don't see the point of getting a sata II drive anymore when the prices are roughly the same as far as I've checked (not very far).It shouldn't be a criteria. If you're getting a HDD, SATA # should never matter (I don't believe you can get a SATA I drive with over 750GB anyways).

Okay, fixed it in the original post. Any drives you recommend? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=744345&CatId=4357 I'm currently looking at this one.

#1 Any decent sata 3 drives (non-ssd) in Hardware

So today, one of my drives with 661GB of data on it decided to start clicking and die. I'm looking for a new drive that has:

1) At least 750GB of space
2) 7200rpm
3) Sata II or sata III
4) Is reliable (my drive died after 1.5 years of use)
5) Costs under $150
6) 3.5"
7) At least a 32MB buffer

I'm terrible at picking out drives because apparently my drive had issues with dying randomly anyways.

Nevermind. The drive has bad sectors. Feel free to close the thread.
