HidiI understand the frustration of the production, and the people who were in contact to even get TF2 at Dreamhack. I would be equally as mad. I organize local TF2 LANs, and I've also been looking for opportunities to grow TF2's LAN presence here in Ontario; but then we get these situations where at the last minute, someone backs out, and it ruins the entire event. Not only for the teams involved, but for TF2's presence at the event as a whole.
If there's one thing that constantly scares me about running TF2 LANs, it's knowing that at the last minute, I could get fucked over, and that LAN, and any future LAN I try to organize is toast. Do you think if I had 6 or more people back out of TLAN at the last minute, leaving me to try and improvise a smaller tournament and event, that Hunter & Lucas (The venue) would have asked me back? Probably not.
This is a prime opportunity, and now it will be ruined by a team who chose not to get their beans organized. Consider it a very good, and sorely lost opportunity.

trashso you got funded almost all of your trip, to a LAN invitational that can be used as one of the most important springboard points for TF2's competitive history, and half the arguing is based on you not feeling like going?
also why the fuck is this all being set up so close to the actual event date, shouldn't have this all been sorted at least a month ago
We did only have one month to set all this up from the date it was confirmed that there was even going to be anything at DHW. That said, most other teams were sorted within days, they knew about the possibility of DHW weeks beforehand and ondkaja pulled a team together with like 3 weeks notice albeit with some roster changes.
