It's free, so there's no reason to not sign up really. The worse that could happen is you get the chance to play higher level players. Even if you lose, it can still be a good experience.
These guys have my seal of approval. They're all serious and some of the most dedicated tf2 gamers I have seen in a long time. They have a lot of potential. Could do decently with a good pocket =)
