MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War)

TomSSSeagullThe match vs froyo last night had more stalemates than my entire previous week of games (including the bo3 vs epsilon in our showmatch). The majority of posters in the update threads want slower gameplay, and that's what they're going to get.
Personally, I'm disappointed with the recent patch. I was enjoying coming up with new ways to defend in transition fights as well as new ways to push without uber, but now we're back to the same old uber gameplay. However, the sticky nerf significantly increased the skill cap of roamer, so I'm a bit biased.
My problem with the nerf was that it changed the core of the game. But then again, thats the reason that some people (including you i guess) liked the patch. I for one gotta say that I found that match amazingly fun to watch. You guys played freakin fenomonal in 2nd half, and I'm pretty sure most peoples' jaws dropped :D. Imo, those last really fast rounds where so much fun because of the previous slower ones. I don't know, I've always really liked the meta. Its what made me pick up the game after all.
And what do you mean with the previous nerf increasing roamer skill cap?
I think he means that since demo did less damage with stickies, bombing in as a roamer was a bit easier since the initial demo spam you might've taken was not as huge as it would've been with "normal" stickies.

L0l0GamingToasterwould recommend getting a custom hud and configI did i got the eve hud. Is there one better than that one.
No HUDs are really "better" than other HUDs. It is simply a matter of preferences, depending on where you like your health/ammo to be, and what they look like.

Type "fov_desire 90" in the Developper Console. To enable the console, you have to go in Options > Advanced (bottom right) > Enable Developper Console (check that). Afterwards, you can bind a key to opening the console in the options. There are a ton of console commands that are all somewhat useful, but as far as actual gameplay goes, fov_desired 90 is the most useful one.

MLG Melee Tournament

KhakiSo the highlights of this tournament from what I can gather
-tournament has been heavily delayed, mostly due to things beyond MLG's control
-The stream has 500 commercials for ever 5 minutes of stream
-people are upset and shocked that MLG seems to be a gimmicky company exploiting competitive video gaming for money
-Armada is undefeated in the round robin pools so far
-Westballz 3-0'd Mango in pools apparently(sadly I didn't get to see)
-Mango is choking harder than mew2king ever has
also mango side-b suicided as fox on the last match last stock against armada, and armada seemed to be quite a bit more upset about it than mango
Yeah armada's face was just like "wtf mango you had that"
