Nothing of great importance will change
I never said anything will, just still think they're half viable to run sometimes. Just like the other classes are, etc.

brownymasterDeepGet to frontlines at shit speed and hoping you don't die when peaking to get the speed boost. It's generally shit. Go try prove it's a good weapon if you want.brownymasterDeepHere's the thing, sure it does less damage, but it's more accurate, allowing you to put out more damage at mid range. Sort of like a shortstop, but with a speed boost. If you use this, trust me, you won't need to jump. The speed boost is so ridiculous, that you can easily juke heavy classes at close range. Why would you ever run it to mid either? That's just stupid. And it also only takes 100 dmg to fill up the boost. So it's only useful on granary? Literally every other map, scouts have good reasons to jump around (get on spire, get on crates, jump around, etc). Double jumping is really important on most maps.
There is almost no reason to have to jump if you are going the speed that this thing lets you go at. The speed boost is ridiculous, not to mention, that at mid range, this gun out damages the stock scattergun. Making it even better than the shortstop at harrasment.
Which is why I said its good for last defense and stalemates only. Jesus, read.

Go to 1:09 for speed boost.
thrasherbaby face blaster is horrible. you dont get the speed boost until you do damage, which means you are going to be late to the mid fight, and put your team at a disadvantage there. by the time you get there, your team may already be losing the fight, and since it does less damage than a scattergun you arent going to be that useful. Also, when was the last time as scout you didnt jump? worst gun for scout imo.

PYYYOURthanks Deep, msg me your paypal
Are you really serious? :]
tranchemusicSpace-commander soldier
Actually, I heard that bison can deal damage through closed doors, so it is not bad. One kritz on a soldier against a team you know is behind a door and they all die, with no casualties on your team.
I've been looking at some of the unlocks that are allowed for ESEA this season, and a notable one I've seen is the Baby Face's Blaster. It seems OK, but horrible to use past last defense or going during stalemates, the speed bonus is huge though, but I'd like to see the community's take on other unlocks that could be viable. :)
bentreyreillyOdissiusI think from what I have seen is that they strafe with every jump...also don't forget to abuse your hitboxes/character model by spamming crouch while in the air with each jump.I heard thats been fixed. Can anyone confirm?
Yeah, sometimes it still looks annoying as fuck though
Is this technique banned in ESEA? Like how tauntsliding is?

Good team, I'm telling you, can't go wrong with these people. They're gonna go far in open.
