I have no connection to steam through the client

I just bought Sonic Adventure DX, and restarted steam, and now I can't connect to the servers. Everything else works fine, I can access the shops, etc. Just not the friends server, game server etc.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

dellortYeah I think the point was to maintain all the good elements of CS 1.6 and also introduce some new ideas that came from CS:S and maybe some other games. The big advantage of this (at least to someone like me who likes to compete in this sort of stuff) is that there is a whole timer system set up with clear world records, demo submission, etc., much like Quake 3 Defrag has.
So why is this in TF2 general discussion?

kirbyIs the 2 seconds you have to be resistant to whatever damage type any useful for anything except possibly a medic trying to escape but being chased? I can see the full uber being useful, though.
I think you can spread multiple ubers around without it slowing down since you can use them one at a time, that seems pretty useful.
