JojoDifferDid it not break for everyone back then?phobiai haven't played on a lan server in awhile
That's why I said that I just heard someone else talking about this who has done it more regularly/recently.
How did people not already have this fixed? This cvar was needed after another update broke tr_ maps months ago. Did it not break for everyone back then?
I just heard someone else talking about this who I know *does* play them regularly...
Is that site still around that shows how many teams are paid up and how many are partially paid up and stuff? If so, could someone link me? I can't find it. :0
I remember a bunch of green and red bars... ring a bell?
I've got a friend with the last name Sassenrath, yes, pronounced, "sass n wrath."
Also, one with the legal first name Bing, named for the sound the heart monitor made when his mom gave birth.
I'm getting so old without even being old in the community, like, "What's this new shit I need to learn?"
Mega is the perfect pickup in almost every way: he's friendly, he has absurdly good dm on every combat class, and he readily accepts feedback even though he's already very good. However, the one way he's not perfect is a dealbreaker: he will leave your team.
I have known Mega for around a year now and known a lot of people he's played with, and I've seen him do the exact same thing over and over again. He'll get on a team and say that he's totally into it and fully committed, but what "committed" means to him is "totally there until the second he feels like leaving." This "commitment" usually expires within a few weeks, so he's never really experienced the normal ups and downs of a team. Honestly, the only reason I put him on starter was that we had time to spare before the season and could afford to waste some on the extremely slim chance that he would stick around... because who wouldn't want to be the team to actually get him? He would probably be invite already if he hadn't quit so many times.
I doubt that he would even stay long term with a team that was basically six people as good and nice as himself, but damn if that isn't a fairy tale team I'd like to see.
fatswimdudemedics now have no excuse not to arrow me when i do 20 jumps to get into a spot and have 50hp left
I was already gonna make a video called, "Fuck you and your jumps, fatswimdude," but now...
fatswimdudeShow Contentwhich teams are staying together?
Not Around Bears will be back for S21. Hot Diggity Dog is coming back too. No clue what other S20 open teams are staying together, aside from ones that are moving to IM.
Heya, if you're brand new, you should probably try posting in the UGC Iron forums. That's where most very new teams go looking for players.
Additionally, if you want to get a solid introduction to playing comp, you should check out Newbie Mixes, which run every Friday night at 9 EST. The mixes are pick-up games in which both teams get a more experienced player to coach them on the basics of their class and the competitive format.
Best of luck!
Kooty is really good. Her breadth of experience really shows in her understanding of the game, the pace that she's capable of playing, and her level of mastery of different classes. Her dm is definitely high open worthy and will only get better as she focuses on one class.
The only reason she didn't end up starting with my team this season is that she wasn't prepared to comm enough to play pocket. She's definitely quiet, but everything she says is helpful, and she won't leave out anything essential. She'd be great for roamer, scout, or maybe demo with an otherwise vocal combo.
Bump. Still trying pockets.
When do placements/roster unlocks happen?? I'm excited to get my new players rostered. :3
