I'm not sure if anyone had said anything about brightness settings but in mm you're not allowed to use anything other than default brightness, hopefully that gets changed too.

same thing happened to my deathadder a few months ago and I bought zowie ec1-a and it's the exact same shape as deathadder, if you like the way your mouse feels now I would recommend that one.
