In the interest of full disclosure, I must admit that I am brand new to Team Fortress 2; I have a total of 14 hours played - though I have watched quite a few streams. So, if helping someone who is not only new to competitive TF2 but also new to the game does not interest you, please -frag and hit your back button now. However, if taking this unmolded piece of clay and firing it in the TF2 crucible is something you're interested in, keep reading.
I'm not new to the FPS scene in general, nor am I new to competitive gaming - I played Quake back in the '90s and I played Counter-Strike until '02. However, it has been about 10 years since I've played a game seriously, but I'm very intrigued by Team Fortress. In the few hours I've played I have had an enormous amount of fun, but I know that with a little guidance I can probably get much better and have more fun. I've done a little bit of jumping on the TF2jump servers, a little bit of MGE, and a little bit of random public server play.
