Most everyone has given great advice on technique so I wont mention that despite how important it is.

Feel and good time are also supremely important. If you sound like crap when you play with other people, then you might be struggling in one or both of those areas. Make sure that you are the pulse of the band and that the bassist/rhythm guitar/keyboard/whatever-bridge-to-the-melody-you-have is following you for time and you are following them for feel. Playing the wrong kinds of rhythm can make a band feel like it's out of time even when everyone is perfectly in sync. I suggest keeping things super basic until you have proper feel. Once that's down for the song you're working on you can put more in to your play.

Also, if you aren't playing with people then you need to start right away. Asking people you actually play with on tips for improvement will be 100x better than any advice you'll find asking here. Look for a few friends that would like to jam out and help you out. Maybe find a drummer who can strum a guitar a little and jam with him. He'll be able to help you greatly.

I play (bari)sax and bass pretty well and can be wholly mediocre on guitar, drums, keyboard, and mandolin.

I just got a CoolerMaster storm quickfire rapid with MX blues. It's a vast improvement over my laptop keyboard and pretty cheap. It also fits my tiny desk and I don't miss the numpad at all. Build quality is also pretty great and it's small size is great if you need to take it anywhere. Blues are great feeling, but it's my first mechanical so i don't know much.

It would be awesome if someone would stream this. I think seeing the discussion about why a map is good or not and how it can be improved would be great. Educational in a lot of ways.

If all you want is the penguin, you can run tf2 on linux in a virtual machine and it will work. I used ubuntu 12.10 in the virtual machine. I got to the point where the screen would go black for TF2 and the Valve music would play, but then it would crash. I went to play for reals in windows and Tux was there. I never even got to the main menu in ubuntu and still got the item.

Nevermind. It's an issue with the app and not your channel. If anyone else experiences 'no videos to display' when you know there should be some there, just hit A and it will take you to the 'all uploads' section.

You should enable these videos to be watched on xbox. It says there are 'no videos to display' when I try to watch through the youtube app.
