But, well, a brazilian team which got third place in the same fast cup we got 2nd and the other team got 1st (the brackets, fw = ss: http://challonge.com/vanillatf2), got 2nd place in CEVO... I don't really know the difference between the skill level in open and in CEVO, but you guys can have some idea about how we will do...

I'm not saying all Brazilians are bad, but with as many teams and players trying to play ESEA just for that reason, I can't see the br teams winning i52. :p
The people in BR I talk to give me exactly that impression of the scene.
The scene here used to be strong, with incredible teams like KmK, 6, HC, nex-i, nwl (which is mostly argentinean, but they are our hermanos and play at the same league)... But last year, due to some butthurt, some retarded people DDOSed the players and the servers everytime the teams wanted to play the Elite (which would be our invite) semi-finals. So the teams eventually gave up to play it and we end up with some 4~5 guys (responsible for the DDOS) banned for life, but some of them were actually part of an Elite team (that got eliminated in the group stage). So, with them out and some people from the teams that got DDOSed giving up too, we ended up with like 1 really elite team, and they eventually quit due the lack of competition (they can 5-0 almost everytime the new Elite teams).
But during the good old days, we had some great players and teams that could probably surprise some people if they went to an world championship :P
