#5 EU Newbie Mixes in TF2 General Discussion
AdebisiBut how newbie is newbie?

Mainly its between People who have watched a couple of Competitive Videos and are straight from Casual to Players who play at Low/Open, so quite a broad range.

#2 EU Newbie Mixes in TF2 General Discussion

There is also a Steam Group for the Mixes as well so you can get updates as to when a Mix is, but typically it is 20 CEST on Saturday like DuMmTm stated. If you are an experienced player and would like to coach some newer players, then feel free to join in, note you would probably have to play Medic so the matches aren't a roll or unfun for other players but any help is appreciated. Hope to see you there.

#112 b4nny Documentary in TF2 General Discussion
blinKSome day banny will realize how miniscule this all is. It's just a game for most people, to enjoy in our spare time. His feeling of being god-like will be over as soon as this game dies. Nobody will care if he was the GOAT at a dead video game. The ass kissers will be gone, his "teammates" won't be online anymore because they will grow up without him, and he'll only have his esea trophies to serve as his only friends. If you read this Grant.. Get out while you still can. Enjoy your life, don't throw everything down the drain chasing the dream of being a pro gamer. You are going to be sorely disappointed. Not to mention how far behind you probably are in life seeing as you basically lost all ambition for reality to just focus solely on being the best at a video game that is on its last legs. Which is a shame because as I said, nobody really cares nor will anyone care in the future how good you were at this game. This game should never have been your priority in life. Just a way to pass time enjoyably while you responsibly take care of "real life" at home. You used to be such a nice and quiet kid. Quit letting this shit get into your head and learn from it. Be the best "you" can be in life. Grow up. I sincerely wish you the best.

Is this the next copypasta?

#35 ETF2L Fresh Meat Challenge in TF2 General Discussion

Any role at the moment is open atm. Dunno if this should be placed here since there's no Team Recruit Fresh Meat
option on the website.

#33 ETF2L Fresh Meat Challenge in TF2 General Discussion
HildrethOne thing people here looking to Buddy could do is take a more active role in trying to find new players. One idea I have got is to start hosting New Player mixes, I am trying to quickly organise one tonight from Reddit to happen in ETF2L Discord, but I don't know how successful this will be in achieving its aim.

https://www.reddit.com/r/truetf2/comments/605f08/premiership_player_hosting_newbie_mixes_for_fresh/

Expect more organised versions of this to develop though. Tonight I am just trailblazing.

Sounds good, might pop in to help. I do have a Discord for the Icebreaker Cups that were unfortunately not popular to take off, but there's a fair amount of players on there so if you want to take that and make it specially for Newbie Mixes that would be fine.

#1 NA Icebreaker Weekly Cup Signups Wednesday 8th February in TF2 General Discussion

Hello Everyone, we are trying this tournament again in the NA Region after the EU version did not get enough signups to start, unfortunately. The rest of this post is a copy/paste from my previous one with some slight edits:

The intention of these cups is to introduce newer Players to the 6s Format and to play Competitive in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Whilst these tournaments are orientated towards newer players, more experienced players are welcome to signup as it would be nice to place experienced players with newer players as team leaders or coaches. Here's a rundown of all the key details:

Date: 8th February
Time: Signups start at 17:00 EST. Tournament starts at 18:30.
Region: North America (Chicago Server)
Ruleset: Normal FACEIT Rules

FACEIT is offering a Prize Pool of 5,000 FP. Which is distributed like so:
1st: 2,500
2nd: 1,500
3rd: 1,000

The points should be allocated to the players on Monday.

This tournament will be located in the NA Region. However, if there is sufficient demand I would be willing to work alongside someone to create EU tournament alongside the NA one. We do have a Discord for the Events, however, if you do not have to use it during the games and you can use the Server Voice Chat. I would recommend that you do join the Discord as any additional information will be communicated there first. The tournament will not be streamed on any official Channels, however, that does not stop others from streaming it.

As I said earlier, it would be nice to have more experienced players act as mentors for their team and it would be nice for those players to post in this forum just as an indicator of how many experienced players we have. But if we have tonnes and tonnes of professional Players it would be an unpleasant experience for the newer Players if they keep getting killed and criticised for it. The same thing applied to premade teams. You can take part with groups of friends, that's totally fine. But in my opinion, premade teams would just cause this tournament to be horribly unbalanced and unfun to play. If you think otherwise or have any questions then please discuss it in this forum. This whole tournament is open for scrutiny as I am not very experienced in running tournaments.

Thank you for your time and support!

#1 Icebreaker Weekly Cup #1 on FACEIT Details and Q&A in TF2 General Discussion

Hello Everyone! Yesterday Shounic posted a slightly clickbait title about my Reddit Post introducing the Icebreaker Weekly Cup on FACEIT and I thought it would be a good idea to elaborate and explain what it is all about.

Date: 28th January
Time: Check-In starts at 5pm GMT. Tournament starts at 6pm.
Region: Europe
Ruleset: Normal FACEIT Rules

I'm just going to point this out here, but unfortunately, there will be no prizes in the tournament. There is a possibility of that far down the line but I don't want to make promises I cannot keep.

For this first tournament, it will be located in Europe. However, if there is sufficient demand I would be willing to work alongside someone to create a NA tournament alongside the EU one. We do have a Discord for the Events, however, if you do not have to use it during the games and you can use the Server Voice Chat. I would recommend that you do join the Discord as any additional information will be communicated there first. The tournament will not be streamed on any official Channels, however, that does not stop others from streaming it.

As I said earlier, it would be nice to have more experienced players act as mentors for their team and there is a form that you can fill out which will help me keep tabs on how many experienced players we have. But if we have tonnes and tonnes of professional Players it would be an unpleasant experience for the newer Players if they keep getting killed and criticised for it. The same thing applied to premade teams. You can take part with groups of friends, that's totally fine.
