#50 FROYO win i55 in News
lanskyblinKFroyo lost their long time pocket soldier prior to this tournament. Imagine how much stronger they'd have been with lansky.
b4nny had an incredible performance this lan and ash played amazingly throughout the tournament, single-handedly winning a few key rounds. i think they were better off with this lineup; b4nny's pocketing is unmatched and really brought the team together.

I agree that he had solid pocketting, but I don't believe ash is as effective as b4nny was on scout.
While there aren't really a lot of good options, I still don't believe this is optimal froyo.

#23 Vote for the marketplace.tf MVP of i55! in News

He's a good player and you said something true, but that's not the point snaz.
Is he the best player of the LAN, that's the question.

#11 live gunman kills reporter then himself in Off Topic
cerealI've seen horrifying videos on liveleak that I'd rather not discuss, but this one shook me up a lot and I don't know why

POV.
The hesitance when he pulls out the gun at the 20 second mark. The still camera, the intentional walk and the hesitance make it one hell of a video.

#12 Unlearning Movement in Q/A Help

How to learn new habits:
Do them
Keep doing them
When you don't do them, do them instead
Repeat

Seriously, there's no fucking trick, just do it instead of asking how to do it.

#23 A talk about lobby seriousness in TF2 General Discussion
smoboMr_Harvardmustardoverlordsmoboi like cock
I feel like I have done more for this community than you ever will, that you are an absolute joke of an admin, that you hold onto the smallest amount of power possible like it's the most precious thing in the universe, and that you can suck my cock
Imagine spending 25+ hours a week volunteering for a free video game league, helping newer players get into the game, offering gameplay or league advice to anyone who asks or even expresses interest in joining comp. Mentoring players from pubs to silver level. answering emails, support tickets, steam questions, and replying in IRC, all pretty much constantly. I'm not asking for thanks, I'm asking you to quit perpetuating baseless insults made by a bitter moron that doesn't know me.

i'm bitter because i honestly love helping people especially people that are being pushed around, but people like you take away all the joy in it

edit:Mr_Harvardwhy do all the ugc admins have major long sticks up their tightly clenched assholes
oh wait its because they dont have any real power i forgot, my b

nice

I'm not trying to say anything particularly mean when i say this, but altruism goes without recognition. When you are recognized, it goes without any reference. This doesn't serve you well at all. I know that you do a good bit of help for a community that struggles to keep itself afloat, but telling us that you mentor and all that comes off as insanely self serving (especially when it's incredibly low level mentoring, like, what do you tell them? "Hey, you have 2 eyes and ears, you should use those.). It is incredibly smart to simply heed the advice of those ratchet retards on your FB and just "Ignore the haters :HellaEmojiCryingFace: " and move the fuck on from trying to validate yourself to people that don't care about you.
Not trying to be a dick, but think about it for a few minutes bud.

yttriumMessyRecipeHost servers on VPS or dedicated with command-line access
Install OpenVPN on servers
Connect servers to a VPN
Block Source ports on the servers from access except from the VPN's IP range
Connect players/casters to the VPN
Give out the VPN server IP
Now even if someone looks up their game info in Steam, they should only see a server IP from the VPN range

Not 100% sure this works because I've never tried it.
I have a VPS with TF2 on it. I'll experiment with this.

Edit: We forgot a couple of key points... VPN costs and ping overhead. Especially that last one.

Those key points are pretty much the killer in this. Unless an org is willing to front the cost for these servers, it goes to the players, which is unlikely to be a cost people are willing to pay for a fairly rare instance. The ping issue also puts a severe damper on the situation. It also doesn't remedy a player getting ddos'd, which can kill a match just as easily.
