#46 Pokemon X/Y in Other Games

so Yveltal and Xerneas both have STAB moves on Zygarde.
Meaning the "master" of the trio is actually the weakest of the trio(that's unique).

The Fossils are cool as fuck. But only one is really . . . worth using.
There's a Sword pokemon. You should catch and train it, no matter how retarded it looks.

Pokemon 666 is a butterfly.

Let's not forget about Zygarde, worm protector of the world.

The fun part of this is the trio is based off of Norse mythology. Which is some baller shit.

Ringo__StarrFairy type is godlike

HallowTo whoever said Sweden is racist: That's not true at all. We're probably one of the least racist countries in northern Europe at the moment. Racism is not non-existant, but it's in general very black and white; the vast majority of us (who aren't racist) are extremely accepting. And to my understanding it's harder being black in the US than it is in Sweden.

From more than a few swede friends, that's just not true. While it isn't transparent, sweden is racist.

Goat_DrPloxo Much like the UK is usually called Great Britain.UK = England + Scotland + Wales + Northern Ireland
GB = England + Scotland + Wales + British Isles

yeah, the point being, nigh universally it's called one or the other.

US citizens are spoiled, the best example I can give for that is when I was in an all-you-can-eat restaurant in the states and people were just going crazy and were putting mountains of food on their plates and threw half of it away. Stuff like this would be frowned upon in public by countries like Germany or France that have been scarred by war.

yes, all you can eat buffets are a cesspool. They're also terrible quality food loaded with preservatives. But, you're only pointing out that service-side economies aren't the best standard. Other than that, your point is situational and ultimately baby-food in an actual discussion.

Your Universities are trash, they are not on the same level as EU Universities and financing is a nightmare over there. Master and Bachelor degrees that got made standard all over the world because its the one the US uses, is a fucking joke.

Financing for most universities is alumni driven and partially state-funded. The standard being a joke seems to be either A.) you not having an idea of how standardization works or B.) a secondary standard that is actually used and better optimized.

Racism and tolerance are just as bad all over the world, I still think its the worst in the US, especially along the older inhabitants with their naive thinking about gays blacks and atheists.

again, a corner case on a minority. But alright. Sweden is also incredibly racist. If you're done attacking people to critique a country, you're good to leave now.

Your gun laws are pathetic with tonnes of "accidents" happening all the time, and especially in the south everyone has a gun.

Yes, gun laws are funny here.

Healthcare is a fucking joke for you, I think that got discussed enough in the other threads.

Unoptimized health care is better than none.

I'm personally sick of the US that they think to control most of the world and play the world police, especially in the Arabian countries that's what grows their hate towards you.

We can thank the aftermath of WW2 for that. Both European and American governments made the area incredibly unstable with arbitrary lines drawn. Don't push that on one specific government. Yes, Iran-Contra accelerated the hostilities, but it was ultimately an error made by quite a few governments causing strife in an area.

Also the manifestation of Capitalism is horrible, it might have defeated communism but capitalism is the next to die. There is actually no single penny going from one country to another anymore, its more like "Russia still owes me 1.5 billion and the US owes me 2.6 billion" etc, its all fuelled by the egoism of that capitalistic thinking and is generally accepted by their citizens.

Yes, global economics are silly, and usually just people borrowing from each other until they're even. Sadly, that's capitalism; not the manifestation of it.

moweAs an American you understandably only focus on the problems in your country. But around the world the US is the most sought-after country for people to live in. This is because the freedom and opportunity in the States is unparalleled.

Well, you're correct, compared to a very limited amount of countries that are developed. But entirely off-base with the majority of developed countries.

KingFrostingMy first opinion will be stop saying "America" like is just the U.S, AMERICA IS THE WHOLE CONTINENT!

No, North America is the continent.
South America is the second part of a super-continent.
America is the abbreviation because the majority of large scale unions have smaller states in a larger national state. Much like the UK is usually called Great Britain.

SaberPossimpiblei have way too much personal shit in the form of college shit to want to spend time worrying about the state of the nation, i mean i barely kept up with congress shitting itself violently until my roommate talked about it one day
Curious, you don't see that as a problem?
why would i

i value my education over a complete knowledge of current events

Fun fact: At college age, the frontal lobe of the brain is not fully developed (decision making, planning, etc are based here). This is part of the reason why insurance rates don't lower until after 25. You're doing it right, you weird fuck.

m4risai feel a lot of this is wrong

-shitty economy
-rapidly declining quality of life
-having a bloated military doesnt actually help
-higher education is WAY too expensive for most people in the u.s.
-alternate sexualities not accepted in the u.s. as well overall as in many other south american and european countries
-you're right about the healthcare, it's inferior to many other more developed countries

Strangely enough, the highlighted ones correlate. Higher education giving minute returns is part of it. Higher education was, initially the pavement on the road to middle/upper class status. Now, college education gives you MAYBE 4-5 dollars an hour over what a factory worker might be making.
umm, probably the best way to illustrate this is:

Real talk?
The issues it faces aren't something easily fixed beyond a better education, at least socially. Which suffers with a poor economy.
Economically, we suffer from a service-side economy, which gives diminishing returns indefinitely. Which is indicative of a struggle to get by in the global market due to curious geo-political placement.
Our political issues, both globally and nationally are due to a dissonance of our "role" globally. Which is due to our historic involvement in wars.

I don't mind being an American, it's p cool. But you have to know your history and politics to be proud of it. Like every nation, we have a marred record, and a fair share of internal struggles that we should confront head-on. At our core, we're a great place to live in, comparatively, and anybody that denies that isn't really looking at all of the possible places to be born in, or the statistical likelihood of being born in other places.
