This issue with staying populated is by far the hardest to overcome. I guess Stac and myself are the life of the party :) Sounds all cool and all but that's not what we are looking for. I believe really soon it is going to stay either full or at least 50%+ filled (5v5 or better) Especially once we rent that dedicated Chicago server.

I appreciate you all checking us out and giving us advice. I take every piece of info you all provide and apply it to the community that we are trying to build.

Tragic, those prices are unbelievable. Honestly I did not know that it was as low as $18 a month for a 20 slot TF2 server (like mine is currently) Im familiar with FTP but I really do enjoy the idea that I can access my physical server right here where I am at. Can you tell me where your servers are located at?

Well tbh, badwater is creeping up the top of the list of the servers most played maps but I do not think I can make it 24/7. We also really enjoy goldrush and granary and a select few others. But thanks for giving me a reason to change the map to badwater just now! :)

Vanilla, Sorry I didnt clear that up sooner about the weapon perks I had. I was swamped with shit to do for the server and website and was getting no help. Seems I mostly recruited younger Admins at the start and it was an incentive. We no longer have any of that BS except particle effects (unusual hearts, ghosts, peace sign etc) For the first few weeks, the server was not serious AT ALL but now we are moving more towards serious. I am most definitely looking into it and believe it is now fixed (stupid advertisement plugin, thought i fixed it b4 but apparently not) Also, those sound downloads are from when I use to run Saxton Hale, Prop Hunt and other gay shit. (no offense to the developers of those said mods) I believe it has you download a few upon each map change and should not be more than jsut a few maps before you get them all. bear with me I am cleaning the server files up slowly but surely. As a new server owner I went a lil crazy on the plugins. Good night guys!

Well its currently 24 people and thinking of taking it down to 18 anyways for 9vs9 games. So far the only lag is the people that are out of the country mostly. if I had the extra money to put on a server right now I would go for it trust me. You shall be the first I hit up Tragic. otakuScott, I will def. check out those servers in the near future. Christmas needs to come and go before I spend any more money towards this.

Just some FYI, not that you guys care but the server is staying at 75% and up population for the majority of the day since I started posting here. I guess people like them some drama.

Also, MGE Mod is now installed on the server. Having troubles configuring MYSQL on my webserver for the rankings (i already have tf2stats but want separate stats for MGEmod) If anyone knows anything about setting that up I would greatly appreciate some info.

I do not even understand you guys? This is the worst bunch of people I have ever seen... I was on xen's team but spectating as admin and he was a soldier and was owning 3 others in dustbowl. I do not understand.... Maybe some other xen??? I could be mistaken for the wrong person? If that is the case then I apologize. The xen in my server had a 2nd part to his name but do not recall. I do apologize for posting under the wrong person's post.

Xen Just spent hours on my server and I must say, his skills are exceptional! We threw the teams on dustbowl once the server emptied out and it was xen vs 3 other's no lie. Granted they were not pro's, but capable TF2 players and basically they could not even cap the first point. Was a joy to watch and he drove me nuts when he switched to scout. He moves with style and rocket jumps around corners into doorways with ease. I hope he gets on a god team because he deserves it. GL xen!

I really do plan on getting a dedicated server pretty soon but can't say when. It might even be after the holidays. Sorry about your ping, we are located in central Florida so I'm sure there is a few thousand miles between us. Other than that, I hope you did enjoy it. We are very laid back and I am not the dick I made myself out to be yesterday. At least I caught your eye though! :)

I'm up for any more suggestions or bitches/gripes/complaints. How can I get better at this if I don't know what all I'm doing wrong. Oh btw, Replay is now turned OFF on the server. It was a bit much when 9 people uploading their last life to my web server at the same time. We will be back at it later (say 10pm?) Tell me a stock map and we shall do it. Thanks guys

Ok guys keep thinking that. You cant shake off a few words in a post? Gimme a break. We had a blast today on the server, some from here showed up and totally owned me but i was honored. I definitely jumped the fucking gun last night and i apologize. Not saying you gotta like me but at least put up with me. My server is open to any one of you guys even the haters. I can take it I promise, unless you say something about my wife or children then that's crossing the line.

Pickles, Had a great time with you and xen in there today. You guys are awesome and hope you continue to come around. I'm thinking of making it a 9v9 server and gettin rid of all the childish Admins in my group. I could use some good talent if anyone is interested? the server is staying active today guys after my little shin dig in here last night(this a.m.) We have a valve map only rotation going on currently and I really believe that's what's keeping the server populated. I'm staying off of the game and just handling the Group announcements, website stuff. You are all are more than welcome to come to the server (ip listed in first post, it's the little arrangement of numbers partially bolded and half assed underlined) Hope to see ya there!

Vile, thanks for the heads up. Im more of a family man who enjoys playing TF2 with my family. Not a troll by no means. Dunno what crawled up me but I musta been looking for a fight. Taking on a whole forum is not easy but exciting. Glad I mad a great first impression. I would like to step my game up and I plan on doing so. And I am aware that if I continue to post on this site I will be getting shit for awhile. Im prepared for it, gotta be. After the dust settled there has been some very good words exchanged on here and you guys totally turned it around for the better.
