ShdSteelLong awesome story
matchuHonestly the most fun I've had in tf2
Honestly this is awesome to hear. One of my big worries was how new players would handle the grind of losing. I know it was hard for me my first season.
Shd, knowing deathy you got a really great coach, and I'm glad to hear he's been so dedicated and helpful. Stories like these are what make these threads cool.
I'm glad both of you guys are super enjoying your seasons and 6s on whole.
SerendipityOkay. Everyone gets tilted during scrims and we never have 6 for matches. Our younger players are clashing a bit, and our team has cohesion issues. We got destroyed in every match because we're low open. However, we've fixed some of the problems from the beginning of the season. Our mentor, shadowpuppet has a full time job as a paramedic and we've been dashing about in the pastures and meadows of low open.
Sounds like you've had a hard start, but at least you guys are still alive! It's good to hear that you've been fixing some problems as well. Have your scrims with other low open teams been close? And have you figured out what is causing the tilting?
Back in my first season of open, Mana made a thread with a similar title. It was nice to hear how other new teams were doing, as well as to get some advice from experienced players. It's always interesting to hear what the newer open players/teams have experienced, now that we're at the halfway point.
How are you feeling about the matches you've played so far?
How are scrims going?
How is your schedule?
Any highlights, lowlights or memories stick out from the first half?
As a team, what problems are you guys running into? Any problems you've found on an individual level, whether it be issues in your play, or the grind of a season?
How's your team fitting together on a personal level?
Have you noticed any significant improvement through 4 weeks?
For the Newbie Mix Teams: How has the jump from mixes gone? Do you feel it has been a worthwhile adventure?
For some context don't forget to link your team page so we can get the context of what you're talking about, as well as preferably your role on the team. If you have any mentors/coaches you want to attribute some of your development to, that's cool too.
concor-TBH I never liked to purge my email lol, like maybe a quarter or half of my email is pretty important stuff, and since I'm a mong and I always never remembered to delete my email anyways, I rather let it be.
Wouldn't using a function like hotmail(outlook now)'s sweep function only remove unimportant mail such as the ones from twitch?
Red_CADIAN FOR LIQUID

Confirming our roster for the @MLG Qualifier:
Hiko
s1mple
nitr0
Elige
adreN
We will continue to use Koosta for everything but the major.
cookiejakeDreamboatJesus christ how do you guys let it get that out of hand?facebook, youtube, and twitch notifications which i never turned off
Oh. Yeah facebook notifications did use to add up pretty quick, however dont most email programs have a way to delete everything from one sender? Couldnt you just delete everything from twitch youtube and facebook and purge like...90% of the unread emails?
Jesus christ how do you guys let it get that out of hand?
I think I'm winning

Hmm, subtle changes but cool none the less.
wickedplayer494Via the CS:GO blog:
Valve[ MISC ]
– Fixed missing alphas to resolve un-skinned areas on the following weapons: USP-S | Royal Blue, P90 | Desert Warfare, UMP-45 | Corporal, SCAR-20 | Cyrex
I would love to see a comparison of what it was before and what it is now. Sounds like a weird change, in the sense I havent noticed anything wrong with those skins?
Red_yeah that was definitely a troll mOE said something like that too
Yeah I know, thats why I put the KappaPride.
I would love Fiffy stickers though.
parkI could've sworn it was actually hi there but now people are saying hit here and I'm confused
I vaguely remember a tftv thread about a year ago where he said it was hi there and i was shocked because i had always thought it was hit here.
edit: Looks like I had that backwards. Listen to sideshow not me.
edit2: just confirmed to me on steam its hit here:
Dreamboat: its hi there not hit here right?
dopezZz (☞゚ヮ゚)☞ is now Online.
dopezZz (☞゚ヮ゚)☞: hit here
Red_They won't be using allu because he can't compete in the minor next major if they make it.
I'd guess adreN because of no other options honestly...
Aleksi Jalli @alluCSGO
@GaZCSGO @Liquid_Hiko I would like to help them out but unfortunatly doing so i would get banned from minors again which would affect ENCE:(
Yep, no allu. Adren legit the best and only option. I'm sure adreN is willing to put aside his feelings for sticker money and now a shot at part of a 1M prize pot. With that said, I wonder if the prize pot boost would sway someone who might have said no initially to change their mind. It's been a whirlwind of interesting stories heading in to the qualifiers, and I'm sure it'll be the same heading into the major.
Editl: Fifflaren KappaPride

Maan. Someone need a 5th? I am quite known in the scene, I've won a major and I had an amazing major final performance one time. 9-44 bitchz

Valve is increasing the prize pool to 1 million dollars. Really glad to see Valve supporting CSGO more.
In other news though, Mongolz weren't able to get visas for the qualifiers, so they can't go :(
This is huge for both CSGO and esports.
It does suck for Mongolz/YouPorn and to a lesser degree Liquid
Mongolz not being able to make it, YP having to use 2 CSGL players because of visa issues, and Liquid not being able to use Koosta and now not moE either.
On a side note, I wonder who Liquid will use. They essentially cant use any pro player who would want to play in the minor circuit, which eliminates a ton of options. Watch Summit1G actually become their best option. At this point I honestly feel they'll have to try and get adren back.
