The last arguement isnt wrong (although there is ways for casters now to be on the producers cam) but i value consistency, and especially when it comes to non-playbyplay situation where i talk about plays after the fact, not refering to a place relative to other things not on screen anymore either seems like a good idea.
"The Roamer going behind the uber through Right to repush from there after the uber faded saved Blu Team the last hold" just conveys less relevant information than assigning a specific term to it.
And while bucket is a valid enough call, i'd prefer to just call that the bucket itself, "Bucket is trapped" shouldnt have to refer to anything but the actual Bucket-Trap and not a potential trap on the door.

So how are the plugins gonna be enforced, cause last time i checked there was no communication between any of the involved parties (Twikkuu, ETF2L, Serveme) about it yet and matches start soon

there is one on gully mid and you can hide sticks in it, god damnit valve

(the other 6 sticks are obv hidden, this also means gully isnt symmetrical on mid as you can stand on it. They are solid for rockets so you get a slightly moved up wall to jump off on soldier, and you CANNOT build guns in them which is good i guess)

As TFTV Staff, i approve of Mitch's statement

Was streaming when hell broke loose earlier and was messing around with bots because of it until we had the idea to watch bots fight it out but ran into some problems making it work properly.
Was an attempt to basically create a functioning HL match with named bots but kept running into different problems, including one team always having one less player, the specific names not functioning i wanted the bots to have and other minor stuff
If anyone has an otherwise pointless knowledge of this pls help, not much else in TF2 i can do rn lol

Practically no one he had beef with in the past is part of the organization anymore but he is to blind in his childish hatred towards all of us to realize that the people he actually doesnt like arent even here anymore so that shit just gets flung our way now (even more fun for europeans who quite literally have probably never interacted with him outside of maybe 2 words at LAN)

anyway War has a point, just look at the Creators.tf pubs that are becoming rapidly popular while still requiring you do download a bunch of shit. "Just TF2" has been around for a decade now and people are looking for new and exciting ways to play the game. And while [New Game of the Month] comes out twice a year we are stuck with a game the devs clearly dont give a shit about, so some experimentation cant hurt, let alone the fact that TF2 existed for longer without Meds running Scout speed than with that being a thing so all this isnt even a new thing really.

Experience rule is nice in theory cause who wants any random team to just start rolling up with subs they got mid way through the season that are in a way higher div than the given team, but the completely unclear nature of what flies and what doesnt pre provisional tiers is such a huge issue and is how we got into fun situations like Carbo in mid last season which just shouldnt happen

isnt that kind of a problem as well tho, so many people just can rely on being able to break the rules because they now admins are nice about it and everyones case seems to be a "special exception", why even have the rule. Except you still get cases were admins say no to players sometimes at what feels like random for asking some high player to play in mid while people that dont ask typically only get a minor warning for it, the way it works rn just encourages people to break rules and ask for forgiveness cause they know its fine (both examples that happened within a week of eachother last season)
The only thing that is good out of all this is people actually getting punished for blindly breaking the experience rule now (hopefully this will last) even if it is very detrimental for this HL team

Message your local TFTV representative of choice (like wan did with me but obv would make more sense messaging some of the NA team)

if you still have VODs of your own casts that is great to have as well so whoever you are contacting already has an idea how you are casting for a first impression, obv we wanna give people chances but for the sake of broadcast quality if someones is genuinely not great letting them get more practice first is better
if you are looking for specific feedback on stuff, talking to other casters can be good as well, know plenty of people doing that

i was in the same position you were in just a little older at the time and i started myself by just demo reviewing like every lans demos until hiipfire got me involved on TFTV and now i run (part of) this place somehow (help) so the career ladder is very much there

if you happen to have time at absolute degen hour for NA im always very much open to host peoples first attempts into casting if they are serious about it so if you ever find yourself with free time at 20-23 cest hmu
