It's coming just fixing/improving a few things before we release the matches :)

An hour, and 19 minutes - and maybe another ESEA season? ;o
BurnDLRIP Competitive TF2.
2007-2013, times were great, times were good.
Noooooooooo
4 divisions! 4 divisions! :P
serv0ESEA-Shooterserv0ESEA-Shooterserv0When are we getting our main prize money?? You said checks would be sent out ~1 week ago.
Did ALL your team members fill out the documents, and sent it back?
Yes, about a week and a half ago.
What's your team link?

I'll look into that.

As the title says, today marks the last day to register & pay for your team for S16. Don't miss it, we're close to the goal :)
Charles32TevsI might have missed it, but did did shooter prohibit killing/tri(tf2's admis) from communicating with the tftv community members? I haven't seen a post from them in a while...
edit; prohibit is such a strong word lol. don't get me wrong I'm glad more esea guys are getting involved it was just a bit strange to not se a killing post for a while... anyway I'm just looking too much into it, I'm glad esea is getting more involved with the community. regardless of they waited this long
I would never do that.
~ 77 teams signed up right now, only 2 more days of registration. No more extension :)
I can confirm he works for ESEA right now.
potPlayer's perspective:
- Poor customer service
- Inflexibility
- Laggy Servers
- Very limited amount of servers available
- Often has a non-functional client
- Terrible move-up rules that usually cause major sandbagging
- Expensive
Viewer's Perspective:
- Massive delays for online games due to non-functional client, lack of DDOS protection (Every ESEA server we tried for Open finals got DDoS'd but the first private server we used never went down or lagged.)
- TF.TV twitch isn't allowed to cast LAN
- Apathy towards TF2 even during their LAN stream
I'm fairly certain ETF2L has always had more players than ESEA because all most comp TF2 players want is a cheap league to have fun in with their friends and try to win along the way.
As I've said in an other thread, the best way to investigate a "laggy" server, is to make a ticket, include the date / time / location / server #, and the people will investigate. Let us help you with that, but we need a track of these things. Messaging an admin directly won't make it go away, we need the specialists to investigate it, and get the "problem" fixed.
CknSaladAs much as I'm not a fan of ESEA, it only does the competitive TF2 community good for both CEVO and ESEA to stay afloat for a few seasons. That way there is much needed competition where both leagues will hopefully strive to provide better services for the competitive TF2 players.
As of now, ESEA definitely has the brand name recognition, been around for so many seasons, and has provided us LAN. ESEA however, has its own fair share of issues with its servers not being all that great, premium not seeming to really provide needed/wanted services for the comp. players.
As for CEVO, it seems to take community feedback seriously, has integrated nice things such as SizzlingStats to the site, and has the support of AG Nahanni and Lange (two very supportive and passionate members of the TF2 community). CEVO does however have a lot of uncertainty where it currently only has two divisions and does not have a lan currently.
If you have problems with the current servers, please make a support ticket. It really helps the team to locate the problem (lags, routing, etc.), and fix it. It is the best way to get it looked into.
As of right now, there's about ~80 teams signed up for ESEA. This is VERY good, a nice jump of ~20 teams in about 2 days, #believe.
Invite - 4/9
Main - 5/14
Intermediate - 6/16
Open - 10/30
Let's say it looks very good for S16, but still need more to make it happen. I am very happy with the decision of extending the registration, as it seems it helped TF2.
athermalMy team has had some roster problems recently, but we will definitely get paid up this week. Thanks ESEA for the extention.
No problem!
