This was remarkably cogent for a subject that did not seem to be their site's focus, let's give them some credit for that. And they at least seem willing to listen to saam's points when he presented them straightforwardly without making fun of the organization for not being as well-versed in the spirit and ethos of competitive TF2 as we think ourselves.
Right now it's in a position where it could be a reasonably well-attended Highlander/Prolander tournament, and we should support that, even if we are not going to participate in it. We should try to guide it into something that would be fun and fair for participants, and interesting and entertaining to viewers, because it's our game.
