OTLbschttp://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/1e9eqe/stephano_live_now_ogaming_tv_i_will_stop/LangeIt seems some people are confused. IdrA 100% got cut, that has always been the story, but after being cut he decided to quit being a competitor. He will remain active in the scene in other capacities though. As for Stephano, he's been talking about 'retiring' for ages.
stephano said he'll quit when he can no longer make money by playing.
He has recently said he would stop at the end of the summer, as he wants to continue school
yea he also said he'd quit last year too for school.
panzerxiiiI met IdrA at PAX East, guy was kind of a douche. You could tell he didn't want to be there in any way whatsoever and it was kind of showing. Machine, though, was a really cool guy.

brownymasterThis honestly helped bump up viewership of SC2. Everybody wanted to know what he was going to do, because people actually enjoy the character he is (whether they admit it or not, he's one of the most interesting SC2 players).
Not really, idra has always been somebody who has been very followed since he is the first american to ever play in GSL and has been on high hopes for a while. He was a consistently decent player for the most part. I wouldn't say he's one of the most interesting SC2 players as much as he is one of the biggest personalities in SC2. And that's why he'll be a good caster. If it's anything like his NASL work, he'll do just fine.
idrA casting isn't gonna really bring that many people back, just increase viewership among those who already watch a lot.

fare thee well, evil genius idra.
for pugging purposes its kind of important to have a microphone, not to be a detriment to your friends but rather to learn a lot more about the game. pugging with better people will teach you discipline regarding comms and foci and other things, and it helps to broaden your horizon so to speak when you play more to learn what kind of comms and teammates you do or don't like so when you do want a team and what your job should be when people ask you to cover x or flank y or kill z.
(not to mention its a hell of a lot easier to make tf2 pals in pugs when no one knows you but you have a distinct voice and good attitude!)
that's not the kind of legit he meant idort
Hey, Angry Autists is looking for a medic for S14 of Open. We play on a high-open level and we're looking for a medic who knows his positioning well and has a good understanding of the class itself. A little dedication goes a long way too. We scrim every day at about 8:30CST but it's all subjective to when people have things to do.
Current roster
captain/pocket - wrech/will
demo - DrGilburt
scout - icTus
scout - jonathan strange
roamer - epok
medic??????

How dare TFTV write a well written proposal and take the professional approach to a 3rd party event? They should have known that we wanted to do this event, and them going the extra leg for this just burns me up!
i fail to see why eu-tftv is at fault in any sense besides smack-talking VTV on some show not affiliated with TFTV and on a forum. You could have maybe just stuck to addressing this instead of being an idiot man.
you should also be counting your blessings multiplay informed you that a competitor of yours wrote a proposal and that you didn't! any nonbias business would have just looked at the proposals received and chose the best one (atleast regarding event coverage), so it's really hard for me to see why you can even consider complaining about having to write a proposal when multiplay was so nice as to let you know.
heh
heh
only 3 pages of games and claims skill
would be OP as fuck if you could coordinate with soldier to immediately shoot a rocket after you shoot a sticky through a frame if you know the guys are lit through (or to just warm them up for roamer/scouts), stickies travel pretty far like that.
nice to still have conjecture though, i think a "promod" version of TF2 would probably end up encouraging strategy that wouldn't also encourage camping more like this probably would.
try installing process lasso and then keep it running and when you open a game, set the process to above normal of somethin'. laptops in particular come with a lot of bloatware and unless you have done a full wipe, that could interfere with the games, getting worse over time as the shitty programming that's meant to optimize your system means stuffing the shit out of any game you run. try below normal too, see how the difference goes.
my bad man, edited out. the 4channy humor gets to me sometimes G
^pls stick to using youtube videos, to embed them use the tags [.youtube][./youtube]
wasn't that great, some things just aren't made to be remixed well, especially stuff in particular like Childish/Kreayshawn
MrPoT4tOErenJayLooks cool, but what are we supposed to do? there isn't actually a game.Like the video said: spread the word about it. Get people excited about it. Stuff like that.
blog We’re just starting on this project and need your support.
this might be a little bias coming from someone who used to do a lot of amateur game development but starting a youtube/blog page and making videos before you even have begun a project is just putting yourself on the road to failure because you already failed the most important part -- caring more about learning the tools and working on your dream game than the "super duper fun/random video making!"
edit: christ this is depressing to read through since all it reminds me of is my old failures from hyping myself up to get fucked like this. these people haven't even shared any logistics like time dedicated, staff, language of choice or approach and instead opted to have 5 different people draw concept art non indicative of the described light/dark design.
his starcraft gifs keep me going

he must be good at roamer if he is willing to start a source for new roamers to check out new stuff!
