When I watch scrims and matches all I see the heavy is doing is just having his gun ready all the time and shooting whatever moves and thats what I see all heavies doing in pubs too.
What separates a good heavy from a bad heavy?

I want to play competitive tf2 like 9v9 or 6v6 but I'm not sure if I'm good enough. I don't like getting humiliated while playing so I want to make sure. Can an average pub player like me join competitive play or do I have to be some sort of pub stomper who always top scores? By average pub player I mean the guy who is in the middle of the score board when playing with a couple of decent players who I sometimes dominate and sometimes get dominated by. I have about 1500 hours of TF2 and I usually have a good K/D ratio(if that really matters). I never idle btw.
TF2 has been crashing right after the update with the diamond back and soda popper and other weapons I forgot. The crash usually happens right after connecting, picking a class to play or a few seconds after leaving spawn. This happens even in offline training. I can still play in tr_walkway though but sometimes it still crashes when I try to change classes or in a random moment. Is this because of the update or maybe because I downloaded too many custom skins? I'm using a mac btw.
Sorry if my grammar, etc. is bad its my first time posting a thread.
