YouMustMikeI think the general problem with this thread is that it's not specified whether or not this is a specific warning or whether or not this is an expression of the general rule TFTV is going to follow.
In the case of specific targeting, asking we want fuck and mason's team to change their names privately would've been better and ultimately would probably arrive at a solution without the appearance of forcing anyone's hand.
In the case of the general rule as to why some matches aren't being casted I feel like this should've been some kind of article or included in some kind of rule post. This kind of nonchalant forum post doesn't really give the authority it deserves and appears to me, at least, to be directed mainly at the two Main teams mentioned above.
In short, think before you post.
It's a general rule, using those two names as an example

So a lot of your guys have been asking of late for more ESEA Main casts for this season. However, a worrying trend among Main teams is their unacceptable team names for casting on TFTV. I'll list the Main examples of team names which are unacceptable for casting on TFTV:
"WE WANT FUCK"
"Masons Baby Back Bitches"
Both of these team names are completely unacceptable for casts and will not be casted until their team names are changed to something more appropriate.
What do we consider to be inappropriate names for TFTV casts? Here are a few examples of what in team names are inappropriate:
- Profanities
- Derogatory terms
- Personal Attacks
Teams whose names which contain the following (along with anything else in our discretion) will not featured on any of our future casts. The reason for this is because of our strive for clean quality material. Our casts do occasionally get put on the featured page, and we don't want to have people who tune in for the first time seeing the great pairing of "WE WANT FUCK vs. Masons Baby Back Bitches", even if it does turn out to be a good match. We here at TFTV do not want to promote inappropriate names and terms in live casts.
This becomes a problem in the Main division, as it shrinks the amount of possible matches to cast from ten down to six due to the fact that Main only has ten teams. We have this rule apply to not only team names, but as well as player aliases. While aliases are easier to get around in some cases, team names are not as it is what we use to advertise casts.
So if you want to be featured in a TFTV cast, or see more casts for a particular division, please consider the team names and aliases that you use in matches, as it could prevent you from getting a good match casted for the use of inappropriate names.
