If you're going to use an analogy like that you should probably say something like ass play.

ZorroAmerica is too conservative....okay yah I agree that religion skews peoples minds into outlawing things such as abortion but conservatives are what keep this country free. Liberals want to outlaw the ownership of guns and make our government have more power than it already does and the conservatives are really the only ones slowing that process. And lets just forget about that $15T that we owe china and spend even more money. Fcking Obama logic. This country has some major issues and I'm not even sure I'm going to want to live here in 10 years. Hopefully we can get our shit together and our gov doesn't collapse or worse.
Huh!? You shouldn't post opinions that have no facts behind them.
Foxso i went to a computer tech guy to help me get a second opinion
the error code i get for my blue screens are 124, which signifies a hardware problem
i flashed my BIOS and still got the blue screens during idle (just booting windows and not touching anything)
i ran memtest all night yesterday with no problems
the computer instantly crashed whenever i ran the benchmarking setting for uniengine's valley software, so i thought it was the gpu and grabbed the latest nvidia drivers, and it still crashed
so i swapped out the card with an old hd 5870 after removing the nvidia drivers, and after installing the ati drivers, it still instantly blue screened during the benchmarking
the IT dude went to go check if he has a spare processor to test if it's the processor, but at this point i think it might be my motherboard
idk what would cause a computer to crash during the initial windows install and crashes on idle
Edit- Nevermind, going to ask off here first
Hopefully you posted this on the Euro site, it always seems like maybe 5-10% of Euro's check this site normally.
PlatinumIt was pretty good I guess, I really enjoyed how they portrayed the sound realistically as it would be in space
Agreed, one thing that really drove me nuts about BSG was sometimes space was silent, while other times they would decide that space now allows for sound travel.
MR_SLINThe best players in any game put a lot of time into improving their skills and deserve to be compensated for doing so. If people want to try hard and participate in tournaments to win prizes nobody should stop them from doing so. It's no different than any other esport, or in professional sports you could draw parallels to golf or anything else. As long as teams are coming out, participating, and having fun then keep doing it Killing. You go gurl.
Edit- I want everyone to understand that I am saying this as a person that can almost NEVER play in this, since I cannot play on Fridays, so I think I am an outside party looking in.
While you are true to an extent, I think you're missing a huge point. If one team keeps winning money every single week, it's likely that less and less people will play, especially if money starts getting involved. In no way am I saying that invite rosters, if they are winning often, shouldn't get the money I just have a little tweek in this case.
Let's be honest about what is happening with community sourced donations for LAN, there is ALWAYS, and likely, the chance of it drying up. Considering that could happen, what if those people saved that money in order to fund sending teams to LAN? Instead of always waiting until the last possible minute to get 4 teams to LAN, we could start now if an invite team won this. If there was a few dollar buy-in per player (like one or two) and it was helping LAN and think people would be more happy to do it. There would still be tons of things to discuss, but he is my thought in two seconds of thinking the payoff.
Something like, if an invite team won that week they could take, maybe 25%, for themselves and the rest would go to a LAN fund. If a non-invite team, or maybe even Main, something like 50/50 or even 75/25. Who knows, it's just a jumping off point.
Dude, who actually thinks Little Caesars is good pizza? There is no reason to buy that shit unless you cannot afford an extra 2-3 bucks for something that is actually good
Thanks Tragic for the servers, even if your own team doesn't have one yet :P
It was the movie "this is the end" but
Sure, and you're quick Browny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKXmtHSzeXc
I had no choice to do this but I am forced, so I am sorry. My wife's G/f worked on the project, so I am only trying to help. It's a pretty funny movie, not great, but OK. You still get to listen to Backstreet at the end :P
SneakyPolarBearHereThereBeTygersHe has over 50 full-time employees, which is the minimum amount where it becomes required.
Worst case scenario he cuts a few workers to part time to make the cutoff. If that is somehow not feasible, then it would seem that his business was extraordinarily close to closure anyway.
You beat me to the punch there. It's hard to even understand if your uncle is that close to the margins why he would even have that many employees, and moreover, someone that has that many employees should've had some type of insurance already. But as a general rule with the restaurant business, if people aren't coming in to eat, it's likely the food that you are serving or your prices. That business is still booming, a slow economy hasn't really touched people eating out.
HereThereBeTygersMarxistI know it's kinda late on in the discussion.
But a few things (I have a degree in History AND ANOTHER equally useless degree in economics if you need trust factor).
1. Bloodsire, almost no company ever is having to reduce employment or stop hiring because of obamacare - it's simply not that large of a concern. However, companies haven't been hiring as much, and have been generally cutting back on hours, since 2008 - a continued trend that we see exhibited here. Having to pay an extra 30$ a month so some dude you hire can have health insurance is a drop in the bucket for most businesses - unless they already have other problems (thus not hiring and reducing hours - again, a general trend since 2008). It's an absurdity to suggest that the extra fees now associated with full time employees would dissuade somebody from hiring, unless they were already not going to hire anybody. While I do agree with you that part-time union employees kinda got unnecessarily fucked. Right now the fine is only 95$, which, if you don't need insurance isn't such a big deal, furthermore if you're only a part time employee you'll likely be able to enroll (being over 26 like myself) in the open enrollment period if you're afraid of that 95$ fine.
My uncle runs a brewery and restaurant, and he said that Obamacare will most likely make them shut down, or at least drastically reduce his hours (only serve dinner during the winter season, only lunch and dinner during summer).
Everyone says that seems to only watch FOX. In fact, most places would be exempt since they don't have enough employees.
frknBLoodSireyeah like beach volleyball vs volleyballskyrideIf you're looking at it from an esports perspective, the resources thing is kinda true. It's this weird harry potter-esque "neither can live while the other survives" thing. The fact they both exist is a testament to the fact that there's enough people willing to play both, but realistically when you have two competing game modes trying to be the incarnation of competitive TF2, it's hard to present it to sponsors, ignoring entirely that it means you have double the work to cover, cast, play, manage, admin, etc.
Maybe, but I think we can hope for it to be something like Tennis doubles. Same game, different way to play it.
6s is beach volleyball, fast paced and hot asses
highlander is like volleyball, slower and more players
Show Contentive never actually watched regular volleyball. or highlander for that matter
If you think indoor volleyball is slower than beach, you have never played or watched it at college or above level. Beach volleyball is a lot slower, not only because you can't jump off sand as high and with less force, but also because it's only played with two people per team. You end up passing high since you need to setup for the next hit yourself. While indoor, you have 3 front line attackers and two back attackers that are ready to pass to and smash (sometimes two setters). Not to mention that the balls are different and you can hit indoor balls ALOT harder. There is many times off a smash where you can't even react.
TLDR- Indoor is faster than beach, switch your analogy
