Over clocking your card won't get you any extra performance in TF2. If your worried about frying your card, just don't attempt it. Source is a CPU intensive engine. If you're playing other games, use afterburner or precision and just play around with them and run stability tests to find what works for you.

GuanEveryone needs to look at how TF2 runs once again, this game is way more CPU intensive than GPU; and all computer components need to be taken into consideration instead of just weighing the GPU over all of them. If you're playing TF2 a mid-high range card is fine AKA the 660 Ti.
I was looking for a card in general, not for TF2. My GTX 650 runs it fine, since it's CPU intensive, but I get 20 FPS in AC3 @ Max Settings 1600x900. I went with an XFX 7870 clocked @ 1.1 GHZ for my upgrade.
I use a G400, and it's wonderful. Feels really nice in my hand, adjustable DPI with a dpi default button, browser back and forth (fully reprogrammable) and it has a nice long cord that you can tuck away if need be.

NeonarkonazelffDunderBroflippersfrknTheFragileAvastKAMOtimesthelegallimitGive it to Seanbud/Wreath for the charity.
And so it has been decided.
I feel like I just started a massive shitstorm.
I honsetly don't think my PSU has enough juice to support 2x 660 Ti
Gave it to Wreath/Sean for the charity effort <3
Anyone else really looking forward to the new ADTR album? I saw this on a video :
Who thinks this holds truth, and who thinks that this is just a jumbled statement?
I'm not sure if this is legit or not, has anyone been having problems recently with core temp, or is my system just really freaking cold.
KiritoCopperSideIf possible get a quad core i5 processor. They are worth the extra money over an i3.
Ok, so I thought about the build and decided to go with an AMD CPU. Here is my updated build.
CPU: AMD FX-4300 3.8 GHz Quad Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Default
Motherboard: MSI 990FXA-GD65V2 Desktop Motherboard Socket AM3+
Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM
Storage: Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard
Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100357LP Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 Ready Low Profile
Case: Raidmax SMILODON Extreme Black
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 TR-500 500W
buy an after market cooler later on for overclock. that looks really good otherwise. nice build man!
TwitchTVJohnMSI 660TI Power Edition x2 if you want the best performance for your buck.
Running 2 GPUs can be a pain in the dick. If you're willing to trouble shoot and deal with driver issues every once in a while, it's not so bad. I run 2x 680s and I've only had a few issues over the last year.
I looked into it, and the 2x MSI 660TI Powers are 299$ each :c That's out of my range :(
