#3 Choosing a Resolution in Hardware

1280 x 720 to prevent your hud from fucking up while maintaining the extra fov from 16x9.

However, if you don't really care for the fov, then you could always just lower it to some other low res. Your hud maker should probably have edits to the hud for different resolutions so I think it should be fine.

EDIT: Your xhair will be a lot larger if you do lower your res so prepare for that as well.

#23 Introducing TFTV+ in News

Why not have the option to use special emoticons like twitch instead of these features?

#3 7HUD in Customization

Just my opinion but I don't think the box around the metal for engineer matches the hud style. Rest of the hud looks pretty nice.

#6 144 hz monitor issues in Hardware

#4 I switched to lightboost the day I got the monitor so I'll try that. I'm assuming the problem is #5 though.
#5 Do you think if I change my method of lightboosting(via the strobelight app here: http://www.blurbusters.com/zero-motion-blur/lightboost/ ), I could use lightboost again?

Nope. Also I should add that this happens whenever my computer is on in general and not just in TF2.

#1 144 hz monitor issues in Hardware

Note that I have had prior experiences with 2 other monitors @ 60 hz and this didn't happen.

So after switching to a 144 hz monitor, my screen goes black everyday at 8:30 PM EST while making the sound of unplugging hardware (the beep that occurs when a mouse gets unplugged or something). I have it set to 120 hz with lightboost and I haven't changed my hardware in a really long time. Neither have I upgraded my Nvidia drivers due to the flashing screen in dx8.

I would prefer help on how to solve this issue but any information or leads on what may be causing this would be helpful as well.

EDIT: Used strobelight and set it to 120hz(strobed) as the only refresh rate and everything works fine again /thread

#122 ESEA S15 NA IM Happenings/Predictions in TF2 General Discussion

Hellbent is actually chill(as soon as he un-local mutes me in owl's mumble) and I've never experienced a problem with this ego everyone's talking about.

Now let's stop talking about Hellbent and go back to IM happenings.

#2 Please recommend me a good keyboard/mouse in Hardware

You can spend 10 dollars for any good non-mechanical keyboard. If you want a good mechanical one, 50+ is pretty ideal.

For a mouse a lot of people use the DA, G400, or some Zowie mouse.

#5 Reverto Fragshow (feedback please) in TF2 General Discussion
cage-I personally loved the inclusion of the HUD and damage numbers

Same, the hud can show a ton of clutch moments in the game. Only problem is that the font doesn't feel visually appealing in my opinion.

I also enjoyed the fact that you included a crosshair.

Music was pretty upbeat along with the colors and pace of the frags.
