#2, it worked for me for the first load. Then after that it started happening again. I'll just use maxframes as of now since there were no problems with that.

Pink/Black TF2 Screen

Knowing the luck that I have, TF2 is broken again even after the fix on Hooli's youtube channel. As soon as I join a game, my console is spammed with "Material dev/upscale has bad reference count 0 when being bound" and my screen is completely covered with a pink and black pattern(I still see my hud though).
This happened after I tried to mess with the stock hud and it still won't go away after I reverted it back. And yes, I did use google for help and I found this: "http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/437678-team-fortress-2/65658294";. That didn't help either.
EDIT: I'm also using high frames if that makes a huge difference.

Hey! I've been using the same cfg and hud for over 1 week now. (With tiny modifications of the amazing charge script) 8D
ApplesauzGek is a great scout, good DM, good gamesense, but can be a little over-aggressive at times which can leave you down a player at times it would be better to have numbers. Overall, he's a chill person, and a good addition to a team.

Competitive Scout/Soldier Mentor?

I don't really have the time to mentor but if you want to get your feet wet, try out tf2lobby at tf2lobby.com. It isn't as skilled as pugs or mixes but whatever. If you feel like you're better, then go to atf2.org and go do some tf2mixes which include less trolls and more communication than lobbies. Also, Newbie Mixes are here and there. Be sure to check the upcoming events to see if they are on during that week. In a Newbie Mix, there will be 1-2 coaches teaching you how to play various 6s classes.
You need a mumble for tf2mixes and Newbie Mixes.
