execing the file with the default crosshair would be like a variable for cl_crosshairfile "". You can change the colors just like any other in game crosshair.

It has to be a config file. Not just renamed with .cfg at the end.
To do this, just save it as a cfg file.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but in addition to the routing issues many people have to esea servers, there should be actions taken place against ddossers to prevent ddossing to happen again.
