#16 Second opinion in Hardware
skyrideGoat_Modular is not a smart idea either when it comes to efficiency.
Could you please expand on this. If you mean what I think you mean then that makes literally no sense.

Just coming off from simple electronics, one hard wired connection from source to where it's needed is more efficient then the modular approach.

absolutely no, corsair puts those crappy generic fans into their PSUs, especially on the cheaper models.

I would recommend you get this one http://www.hardwareversand.de/400+-+500+Watts/82763/be+quiet%21+PURE+POWER+L8+500W.article

BrinkBe quiet! is/was a popular brand for heatsinks in like the UK I think... not sure about the reputation of their PSUs though

be quiet is a German brand and they have been around for ages, their stuff is of a good quality, their recent models in the last years have been living up to the standards of for example seasonic and their efficiency is overall better on some of the higher priced models.

I had a 30gb SSD and now have 120 GB for a while, I do have tf2 installed on it but there is close to no difference compared with my HDD, I would highly consider getting a bigger one since SSDs only maintain their full speed up to about when half their storage is filled up, they also get faster the bigger the storage is.

#43 Loosing Hours on TF2 in TF2 General Discussion

from 960 to 790, and in the last two weeks 0.8 hours.
my hours from the HL2 episodes went to 0.1 and for hl2 it went down from that ridiculous amount (a few billion) to 9.1 I doubt it's ideling or something like that since I just played half life without any menus or waiting in lobbies etc.

#404 Show your HUD modifications! in Customization

On his profile it says that he's the owner of EJP studios, as well as the screenshot of the scoreboard says elmostjp
Very pathetic way of trying to advertise your own product.
Looks fancy but not use full at all.

#10 Problems installing windows (HDD recognition) in Hardware

not sure if that is actually the problem smakers, I had sort of a similar problem when I got a new drive to install my OS on.
Once you boot up from the DVD look out for any advanced options or some other buttons that don't get you to the install stuff right away (I think it was troubleshooting or w/e), there should be an option to bring up a console prompt click that. You want to type in diskpart and then enter it'll load up the diskpart program which will take a few seconds. I'm pretty sure I fixed it with setting the drive to active, just make diskpart list all your drives then select your proper drive and then change the active status to 1, it's all through the command prompt and I can't remember all the commands just use the help command to bring up all options.
edit: somehow over read the part with the sata connection not showing up in the bios, either smakers is right or it's a faulty unit.

#5 System clock going out of sync in Hardware

I had the same problem with my PC and it also was new, it's the battery.
I guess the manufacturers just cheap out on those batteries and some are faulty.
