it was just always slept on. its a very high skill ceiling weapon that has a lot of depth to it. ive heard ppl whine about it being op but pretty much every kill ive gotten with it couldve been prevented if the player i hit just played better, so its balanced. these are my favorite clips ive gotten with it:

the reason its acceptable is cuz its the norm. u want the solution? just enforce the rules. same goes for the roaches that troll on pyro or heavy, the second u make it clear its not welcome is when it disappears as a problem. most pug groups are rly dumb with their rules, putting in a bunch of paragraphs here and bullet points there, when u could just say "dont be annoying." theres no judicial system & it doesnt belong, all u need is a firm hand.

ill play devils advocate (lol) and say i dont find jw even half as annoying as the ppl above me. he has a very bad habit of getting into funny online arguments and needs to stop doing that, thats why hes hated. gameplay-wise hed pound in iM, his dm would be ok in main but anything further hed have to work on it. hes also 1 of few scouts that are actually willing to comm, that traits a lot more valuable than it seems at first glance, especially for iM
