always a fucking baffling experience to see people like this that have the self-awareness to acknowledge that what they're doing is wrong, but lack the self-preservation, self-respect, or minimal common human decency to stop. sad that it keeps happening, both here and elsewhere.
DoughyUnironically if you "knew" why not say something? If it's just the kinda "know" that their weird but no proof then fine tbh (may be this one).
having likely been in haunts's position in this community before i can understand not wanting to, or being able to take immediate action. i submitted an rgl report for a player in question including dms and other evidence, though given what the rgl report system was and likely still is, this took two years for any disciplinary action to come of it. its the best thing i could immediately do, having only met the person online.
i really wanted to, and would have preferred to figure out where this person lived and get in contact with the proper authorities, so i kept the issue under wraps for as long as i could until an rgl published statement ultimately banned and outed the player anyways. the unfortunate consequence of this happening is that the player is a free man, where they can continue to creep on people irl. sure, we banned them from our microgame, but is that really what needed to happen?
