Hey, I just recently started streaming and I'd like to have it added to the side bar! I consistently stream mainly TF2 (pubs, lobbies, ringing, mge, DM) over the course of the week while playing music from my favorite groups (Arctic Monkeys, Gangstarr...)
I live in the USA and I've played competitive TF2 for two seasons in UGC highlander.

ShooshGive the guy a break, atleast he's trying to do something with his time. If he enjoys editing, let him be. No ones amazing as soon as they start. Don't be such an asshole.
I agree with most of what you said, and I think he has really great potential with editing videos, but most of what Jay makes is just hard to watch. It's not the fact that he's unskilled so much as what he's doing with the edits.
nickplusHonestly CEVO isn't even worth the time. Might as well buy ESEA unless you want to play a season of "Counter-Strike: Forfeit Offensive"
CEFO =P
Is that your perspective as someone who has played in CEVO on CS:GO or have you just done TF2 in CEVO? (I'm genuinely asking)
harbleuheard nothing but bad things about faceit admin staff from over on HLTV. honestly esea sounds better than the crew they put together, and that's saying something. putting together an esea scrim team would would give you the same results so pick your poison i guess
There's actually a cevo open league which is free so I might try to join that when I get a little more experience. I don't know though. The atmosphere for cs:go is a lot more intense than Tf2 in the competitive scene which can be intimidating.
apparently this wasn't a good idea
If nobody here has already done so, I'd read a book called Flatland. Also...
Those sound effects were really awesome. It was nice to hear a change from the standard sounds played in the top 10s.
It's cool that competitive TF2 seems to be growing
CEVO is not a shit hole
I was really happy that you chose to wear a suit for casting at GXL. It added a professional feel that competitive TF2 as an esport has been missing.
wareyaYou just have to get used to switching between them.
If I only played scout or sniper would the switch be easier?
I recently started playing CS:GO and I really enjoy it. After a lot time of playing TF2 as a soldier I wanted to try something new. I use no mouse accel, and I have the same sensitivity in both games. However when I came back to TF2 for a quick PUG I noticed that my soldier aim was very off.
So what gives?
Is it because CS:GO is almost entirely hitscan aim, whereas the soldier in TF2 is projectile aim? If so, will improving one type of aim decrease my skill in the other?
teamfortress.tv isn't the place to ask for professional medical advice
I'm a 17 yr old male. Story time-
A long while back when I first started playing on steam my friend gave me an account that was hooked up to his mom's e-mail address. The username was SusanSmith and when I played on that account I never bothered to change it. While pubbing a guy with the name Yoda started being my pocket medic. When I left to join a different server, he followed me around to each server and sent me a friend request.
It was pretty sad. He kept sending me messages on steam that were really flirty. I felt like I was talking to a creepy old man, but I used it as an opportunity to get some TF2 items. So I encouraged him and gradually drained his inventory of everything I wanted. Then I deleted him and changed my username.
