I just made a server and i would like to know how to apply an attribute to only 1 player? (eg apply host_timescale X.X to "Player 1". What would the console command be?

After fixing some problems with my cfg i am hearing echo-ey sounds when i use weapons (eg the rocket launcher). I may have enabled something by accident, i'd just like to know the command to disable it.

Ik, but it wasn't autoexecing yesterday. I had to add it to each class.

I'd like to ask another question though:
Why does my config.cfg always reset after i close TF2.
I edit it and then it returns to some random config so i can't use z x c for the voice commands and i can't use E or F or other keys. I keep rebinding them in config after each game.
How do i fix that? (my guess is to create a separate file and call it (for example) binds and then put my modded config in there and then make it exec in autoexec. Sadly this didn't work for me, i tried it.)

I did that because for some reason they don't automatically exec gfx and autoexec (i know it's wierd). I'll try what you said though.

I have already tried validating the game cache.
Could someone please tell me what's wrong with my cfg as i am NOT going to get rid of it just because of 1 line or a few lines of code.

I figured that out, tried it and it failed. I do have another issue with my monitor. It randomly changes the brightness (at least i think, i can't confirm it because its on 100 all the time in the settings panel).
Does it have to do with me putting AA on 16x and all settings to max (and still getting more than 300 fps :P)

I just tried this, didn't work. Where exactly do i type the code for the monitorgamma (i put it in the autoexec)?

I built a new computer (all inclusive --> mouse, monitor, keyboard, mic, headphones, cpu, ram, gpu, etc.). When i started making some changed to my cfg to tune it to my new system, tf2 is VERY dark. I turned up the brightness on my monitor to 100. I also set the max_monitorgamma to 1.6 and that didn't change anything. Now i am playing tf2 with 100 contrast just so i can get somewhat decent lighting (still bad though) but that messes up the colours in movies, other games, etc. In games such as BFH Beta and BF3 there is no such issue. The wierd thing is that when i move around in game the lighting changes, which i don't want. Is there a command to fix this?

I'd say the steelseries rival. Out of the 2 you have to choose from (which you meantioned) go for the g502.

i am new to competitive tf2 and i like to play soldier. I have done about 50 lobbies to get a feel of different classes and have decided to play roamer.
My current faults are:

Holding "W" while jumping
Due to the above, unable to do even some basic jumps such as a speed pogo
Airshots are pretty bad

I am willing to learn and will always try my best to perform what is asked of me as well as never giving up to try to master a specific jump / tactic, etc.

I have 2 weeks off from school so i can play about 5 hours or so per day.
