#5 Bluscreened while playing TF2 in Q/A Help

If you are overclocked too much, your system can get unstable at seemingly random times. Like Osiris said, it may be overheating. If overclocked, lower your frequency and voltage accordingly, should fix it. If not OC'ed, clean the dust off and/or put a new/better fan in there.

#2 Xoned LFT Pocket Mid/High Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

This guy has an amazing attitude and is definitely an asset to his team. Strong calling and great DM too. A mid-open team would be truly lucky to have him!

#454 MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War) in TF2 General Discussion

Mids are more fun to watch too. Demos don't shut it down right away. They last longer and will have more time to develop. Players who DM religiously should love this.

#291 MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War) in TF2 General Discussion

Valve may have been trying to help out competitive TF2, you know.

This may be a great thing for people watching streams, deciding whether or not to play 6s. Now it will be way easier to make off-uber pushes. This will keep the pace up and decrease the amount of stalemate time. Comp TF2 just got a lot more fun to watch.

#5 LF Medic in Recruitment (looking for players)

Have rang for them. Team full of really nice guys, definitely all looking to improve their game together. Not one of those teams that will fall apart halfway through the season.

#21 Walking shoes in Off Topic

Walking shoes are the exact same thing as running shoes. They do the exact same thing which is to protect your feet from certain stresses. If you have wider feet I would suggest Asics and Saucony. They tend to have wider toeboxes and a fairly even profile throughout the shoe. If you are heavier you likely have pronation (feet roll in when you apply pressure on your foot, arches cave in a bit), so get a pair of stability shoes with mild support. Too much can kill your arches (heavier people tend to have literally no arch).

Source: competitive runner for 10 years and worked in a running shoe store for 2 years. I've fitted a lot of people ^_^

You shouldn't have to spend $200 either, closer to $120-160. Feel free to add me with any questions, I'd be glad to help.

reillyHarbingerMake it in Las Vegas, cheapest flights anywhere in the country. When flying from Ontario, Las Vegas is like $400-500 more than Chicago, and about $200 more than Dallas.

Guess I should have checked from other cities. I have always been shocked to see it at like $120 R/T from Minneapolis.

#47 StatusSpec in Projects
thesupremecommanderLKincheloeMaybe some way of "selecting" a player and then displaying some match stats for them, similar to how Dashnerr does season stats during eXtv casts.
I've briefly looked into it before. From what I can tell, there's no way to capture the stats that TF2 natively collects. Because that is the case, you have to manually capture and process in-game events and calculate stats from the data you collect. That in itself will be prone to breaking (thanks to things like pauses) and probably will be lucky to be completely accurate.

If those caveats are acceptable, I can definitely work on developing something to fill that need.

Is there some way to call sizzlingstats or logs.tf variables while the match is playing?

For example, if you are talking about Duwatna shitting on some other demo, you could bring up the demos' stats in a slick-looking window for easy comparison. The window would be small enough to allow viewers to continue watching the actual match play.

This would be super cool for casting. I imagine the window looking something like the breaking news tickers on news channels:

"They play 100 hours to test this game. 100 hours. 100 hours. Think of that."

Please nobody tell him how many hours mustardoverlord has, his head might explode.

On second thought, maybe we should tell him.

#116 What lack of sex does to you in Off Topic
julesdoingworkIt goes beyond male entitlement but you're blind to think ideas like "women owe men sex" are uncommon!
It was mental illness AND a misogynistic ideology that contributed to the deaths of innocent women.

That's why I left your quote about "no woman owed this guy sex" out. Obviously you're right about that and some people do think these that women owe them sex. One of the most annoying things about feminist views to me is the general thought that "Men are pigs who think women owe them sex." That's like saying "Black people love not working, doing drugs and shooting each other."

It's not right to say that about black people because it's not true. Similarly, tons of guys view women as equals (and many times as superiors ^_^) so don't lump us in with those guys who think that they are better than women.

tl;dr The feminist movement would probably gain a lot more traction if you would stop trying to crucify every male on the planet for being a misogynistic pig.

#63 What lack of sex does to you in Off Topic
julesdoingworkuh no, this is what male entitlement does to you

Are you seriously so fucked up that you think this is what all guys think? He could have been a woman and felt the same way towards men and this still would have happened because he had serious mental problems. This clearly goes beyond "male entitlement," so shut the fuck up and stop trying to blame a drive-by mass murder on "being a man."
