My roof is leaking water and it's messing with my current mousetbh i think u should invest on fixing your roof insteadwhat do you mean?Fix your roof instead of fixing your mouse is what he's trying to say. triggerbot / aimbotter from australia
yeah kaybee is a fucking disgusting person that tries to deny it for some reason , also she's aliasing as gooch who's a nice person so don't think its gooch

Yeah, just queued up wanting to play some mm, first game she's on other team. Just closed tf2 immediately. Also she always has Chase that Feeling pocketing her, which is funnily enough also the person that gifted her the beta pass.

Also, if Valve do crack down on premium she's going to have a lot money locked in that account.

yup, she was being pocketed by a vacc medic the entire time on critacola + shortstop scout, sniper, and amby spy lol. getting headshots back to back and hitting every shot as scout.

#1 Steam games launch only sometimes, help please in Q/A Help

hi tf.tv,

so the issue I have has been happening for a while now, and it used to be OK but I'm getting tired of being unable to launch my steam games. so the issue here is, whenever I click a game (i.e. tf2 or csgo), it says I'm in game but after a while of waiting for it to actually launch, it says I'm online. I have to keep on trying again and again repeating the same process until the game actually launches. Does anyone know a solution to this? I haven't tried it with any other game other than tf2 or csgo since those are the only two games installed but it happens with both games. I've also tried verifying my cache for both games (unsuccessful), uninstalling steam and re-installing my games which was also un successful.

#1 Questions on mouse polling rate & surface tuning in Hardware

hi tf.tv, I was wondering if there are any benefits of setting your mouse polling rate to 500 rather than 1000? I heard that 500 hz = higher perfect control / less responsive and that 1000hz = lower perfect control / more responsive. I realize that tf2 isn't a game that requires as much control or precision as a game like cs:go, but I'm asking out of curiosity sake bc I play more of cs:go than tf2 now.

I was also wondering if using the surface tuning programs in mice program (i.e. logitech, razer) has any advantages / disadvantages and whether or not you should even touch that option?

thanks :)

#16 gym soreness in Off Topic

myofascial release (foam rolling), bcaa supplements, and getting enough sleep helps with soreness.

you shouldn't max when you're already sore af because if you don't give your muscles enough time to recover and you keep on working them, you'll see drops in performance.

also you shouldn't do any static stretches before a workout, but if you do any stretching, do dynamic stretches, and instead of stretching before a workout you should be warming up instead (i.e. on a treadmill).

#5 Ultrabook / laptop recommendations? in Hardware
saamIs there more you want to do besides
mainly just surfing the web, entertainment (youtube / twitch / netflix etc.), and schoolwork.
But if your schoolwork involves any special programs not on the web it would be a problem.

nah, I just want to use the laptop for pure entertainment and school work use only, no gaming etc.

my schoolwork does not require any special programs but why would that be a problem? sorry not familiar with chromebooks.

#3 Ultrabook / laptop recommendations? in Hardware
Obihttp://www.amazon.com/Zenbook-UX305FA-Laptop-Intel-Greyish/dp/B00SGS7ZH4

My brother has one of these I think, he seems to really like it. He too, has defected from the overheating branch of HP.

I was looking at that and it looks really good. ASUS is my absolute favorite laptop brand and that's probably one of my top choices. I actually chose out an ultra book for my sister and it was an asus zenbook too, I just don't remember what model it was but it looked very aesthetically appealing and I tried using it for a bit and it had no overheating issues whatsoever. and yeah HP is literally the worst laptop brand imo.. saying this from experience with 3 different laptops from HP.

thanks obi :)

#1 Ultrabook / laptop recommendations? in Hardware

hi tf.tv, I'm interested in purchasing an ultrabook / laptop that's thin, light, does not overheat + stays cool for the most part, good battery life, and has a solid processor (non-laggy laptop). I'm looking for any recommendations and I'd like to use this laptop for mainly just surfing the web, entertainment (youtube / twitch / netflix etc.), and schoolwork.

I've had really bad experiences with HP laptops so I probably won't consider any laptops from that brand (went through 3 different model laptops and they all broke + terrible overheating issues).

My budget is PREFERABLY around the $700 area.. any recommendations are appreciated and thank you in advanced.

#22 Best mouse? in Hardware

been using the finalmouse 2015 summer edition after using the deathadder for about 2/3 years and it's been great. when I used the deathadder, sometimes my thumb tended to slip off the mouse grip and it was annoying. switching over to the finalmouse, the shape of the mouse along with a thumb rest makes it difficult for the mouse to slip and it's light, responsive and tbh I prefer it over the deathadder.

note: i use a claw grip / I have pretty big hands

#8 ASUS VG248QE Color Setting in Hardware

I was going to make a thread on this the other day after I switched from lightboost to 144 hz but I figured out my problem. this probably won't be your problem but for some reason when I switched from lightboost > 144 hz, under the NVIDIA Control Panel, my color depth changed to Medium (16-bit) when it should be Highest (32-bit). make sure you have it at highest (32-bit). I've experimented with numerous settings recommended by people on different sites and forums but I've found the settings below to suit my moniter and preference the best.

settings:

theatre mode
brightness: 27
contrast: 43
saturation: 54
color temp user mode: R 100, G 95, B 93
sharpness: 40
trace free: 60
ASCR: ON (makes your screen brighter, preference really but I really like it on for gaming)
