#17 Bad streaming performance with i7 4790k in Hardware

Exact same thing here. OBS Studio just destroys my FPS even when I'm not streaming/recording. I'm on Windows 8.1 so Win 10 isn't the cause for this. As for OBS Classic, when I disable stream preview, FPS does get better but it is still noticeably worse than it should be (sometimes drops to ~70).

  • Core i5 2500k @ 4.4GHz
  • GTX 980Ti
  • 8GB RAM
  • 3 Monitors

Have you tried streaming with only 1 monitor plugged in?
