Been using earbuds for almost a year now (random earplugs for 1$ at first, Roccat Aluma now) and I don't feel like I want to go back to full-sized headphones for a number of reasons (ruins my hair, feels awful to use during summer, uncomfortable to use for anything other than gaming really). That being said, I noticed that even with Roccat Aluma, I sometimes struggle in games where sound and sound positioning is important (PUBG for example). I understand that there might not be any earplugs that can compete with full-sized headphones in terms of positioning and sound quality but I still want to know if I can get anything better than Roccat Aluma.
I also read about IEM's just now and I'm wondering if it would be better to get something like that instead of earbuds.
Edit: decent mic is also somewhat important. One of the reasons why I like Aluma is the mic. I even used it on LAN and had 0 problems with comms. One of the options that caught my attention was Tt eSPORTS Isurus Pro since it has detacheble mic. But idk if it's worth switching to that from what I have.
