Skipping Dubai and Mumbai servers gave me a lot of reading time, gonna miss it.

The original Deus Ex is one of my GOATs. Human Revolution was a great game too, hampered only by its lackluster ending sequence and boss fights, that were the only reason you still needed to carry lethal weapons.
I tried Invisible War for a bit, but stealth seemed to be utterly useless and the 90s toon-like art style was awful. The inventory was massively consolized, too. I'll still try it again later down the line; from what I understand there are still decent things about it.
Mankind Divided - haven't played it, but from everything I've read and heard it's a game that really suffered from Square-Enix's management:
- Has an outsourced multiplayer mode that heavily pushes MTX.
- Has a confused plot that ends abruptly, feeding into Jim Sterling's report of rumors that suggest Squeenix are heavily pushing towards splitting perfectly good AAA games into pieces, as evidenced by Hitman 2016 and the FFVII remake.
- Oh, and that PR disaster of a preorder campaign.
According to Super Bunnyhop, the level design is the only thing that could be called solid in this game. Watch his perfectly spoiler-less review:
Sad to see such a mighty franchise (that's clearly in the right studio's hands, as evidenced by Human Revolution) get dragged down from its potential heights by the astoundingly stupid business decisions of its panicked publisher.
Can we just have a general dream thread? I bet everyone has non-TF2 dreams to share. My most recent one ended with me being a special agent tracking down a gang of pedo murderers and taking them down in a car chase. Said dream also involved witnessing a rape of a girl by one of said pedos as a brother of that girl and trying to stop him, and then me finding the body of the boy in the woods as the agent. I also fetched groceries for the pedo's family for some reason.
I also had a bunch of falling dreams and one where I got kidnapped and had my eyes carved out in the back of a minivan. Dreams are fascinating.
XenThePybroInhakeSo can we pick preferred servers in casual yet? I legit quit playing just because I kept being placed on Dubai and occasionally even Mumbai servers for what seems to be 70% of the time, to which I ping double or triple of what I ping to Lux' or even Stockholm (which is already 70-90ms).
This was a problem back in matchmaking beta, and now that it affects pretty much every online aspect of the game, I had to quit playing what is pretty much my favorite FPS of all time. I'm pretty sad.
there is a command to limit your ping-tf_matchmaking_ping_a all the way to tf_matchmaking_ping_c.
Does that really work? I googled it and there's something about the commands being locked or resetting or something. Still, gonna try it when I get back home. Thanks.
fade-can't u use the csgo matchmaking location picker thing for tf2 too?
Googled that too, interesting tool but I assume it only works with CS:GO servers. Might as well try it too, I guess.

Most of MatPat's sub base consists of tween FNaF fans, and his videos' condescending tone and comment section reflects that. Nobody can neither change those tweens' minds (especially not Raja with his confrontational attitude) nor get him or his team of script writing hacks to fact check for a single second (as proven time and time again with his other videos).
Don't waste your nerves on him.
Thank you all so much, the ending was especially touching!
Oh hey, crowdfunding drama. Never saw a thread like this before.
Right now I'm re-reading Tom Sawyer in English, having only read the Russian translation when I was a kid. Having a blast, really fun read. Totally deserves its status as a classic.
Beforehand I've finished Count Zero by William Gibson. I didn't like Neuromancer that much, but I still went for it because I needed my cyberpunk fix. Ended up really enjoying it; it's much more tightly written than Neuromancer and the triple thread narrative ends up covering a lot more ground setting-wise. I recommend it to anyone who didn't read Gibson other than Neuromancer, it's worth it.
Big Aleksanteri Mwalter Sarsaparilla-Wilkinson coming in hot!
I didn't have particularly bad acne, but Roaccutane got rid of it completely. Six years after the treatment, I get one tiny zit like every two weeks and that's it. You must take your monthly blood test; from what I understand, they mostly monitor the effects on your liver, so I'd refrain from boozing during the treatment, like CommonPleb said.
Everyone already mentioned the dry skin, so be prepared to deal with that. My doctor didn't bother mentioning that bit to me. Be extra attentive to your body; you never know if you're one of the super unlucky to get a particularly bad side effect.
The relapse is real!
The coup failed. The army group that led it was in relative minority, and Erdogan sent his supporters to the streets (essentially acting as human shields as the soldiers were obviously reluctant to use force against civilians). Some of said supporters ended up lynching the would be revolutionaries, by the way.
This is very important, since Erdogan will be able to get away with a lot more than he previously could. Stay strong Turkey...
