Hello I am Jdude, of the team Victory Bluntz. Since our former leader left, we are in desperate need of a scout to finish our season of UGC Steel.

We really just need a decent/good scout to finish the season with us. We have some sort of curse with one of the scouts always bailing on the team for some reason, so I believe we would all really appreciate it if once you join you could just stay there. Thanks.

College is greenlighted, so that's not the problem. If anyone has any other suggestions it would be great, I am still unable to connect. I think I'm going into withdrawal.

Firewall was blocking it apparently, so I unblocked it. Still wouldn't connect. Restarted Steam, still wouldn't connect. Turned the firewall off, still wouldn't connect.

Do you think my college could be blocking access to it?

It was working fine earlier yesterday, so I don't think that would be the problem. Dota 2 works fine (if that counts) and I'll try L4D2 right now.

For people sayingthat it will be filled with newbies that know nothing about competitive, maybe there should be a barrier to entry. Maybe there could be an in-game tutorial, maybe 30-40 hours required on the class they want to play? Then it's like an achievement.

No luck, same problem.

So I was joining the #tf2mix server for a pug, doing some pre-game, when the game freezes up and all I could do was look around, like my internet had dropped, but my ping was only about 60 something. I disconnect and try to reconnect, that doesn't work. I restart the game and try to connect, that doesn't work. I try a few other servers, they don't work. I validate steam files and try again, that doesn't work. I run a quick virus scan and a registry defrag, and they find some problems, but no viruses. I restart my computer in hopes that the problem is fixed, but no dice. I need help/advice, other than re-installing TF2, because I at a college that only allows 6.5 GB download per 24 hours. If I have to, I suppose I will, but I would really really like to avoid that painstaking process.

I'm not even connecting to servers by the way. It tries for a bit then says "failed after 4 retries" or whatever it is.

Everything in this topic is win. So much win. Never heard of Cloudkicker, but I'm gonna check them out. I LOVE concept albums and I feel like I've failed whenever I don't listen to one all the way through. Dream Theater's Scenes From a Memory is the concept album of all concept albums in my opinion. You could make a freakin movie out of it.
