If your PSU blew, you would have been able to smell it, more than likely. Nothing happens when you try to power on?

Nin2246Um so I got a job interview for more of a business etiquette than I know of. It is for a small business firm that designs websites. I know that I should wear a tie, wear dress slacks and shirts. But honestly how do I act more than just standing up right, firm handshakes, eye contact. Or is that basically it?
Honesty is huge. Make sure that they understand that you are intelligent, confident and willing to learn. Knowledge can only take you so far when it comes to a career. Passion and a thirst for knowledge is far more important than any college degree can give you. Ask questions. This shows that you want to learn. There is no such thing as a stupid question, and the answer to life is 42.
I knew nothing about the world of online advertising, negotiating, running a site, etc before I started at Twitch. They saw that I had the passion and desire to learn, so they hired me. Pretty much everybody works this way. As long as you have the baseline "requirements" and a hunger for more, you'll get hired.

It probably won't be too late at night, but it IS a Friday. I can understand if some of you have social lives and need to go out and slay the vag, but if you're around, I'd appreciate it.
SolidSpeerlaiyeSo I finally decided to save up for a new pc :>
CPU: Intel Core i5 Intel Core i5-3570K
CPU-cooler: Thermalright True Spirit 120
Mainboard: Z75 Chipsatz ASRock Z75 Pro3
RAM: 8GB-Kit G.Skill PC3-10667U CL9
GPU: GTX 670 2GB EVGA GeForce GTX 670
Hard drive: 1000GB, 7200RPM Seagate Barracuda EcoGreen F3 1000GB
SDD: 128GB SSD Samsung SSD 830 128GB
disk drives: DVD Brenner LiteOn iHAS122
case: Lancool PC-K58
power supply: Antec HCG-520 520W
+ A random W-LAN card.
This PC should be able to run TF2 with more than 150fps right? :3 I also thought about replacing the GTX 670 with a HD7950. Any thoughts on that?
Get the MSI 660ti power edition instead of a 670. Same performance, significantly less money.
Hey d00ds. As I posted here before, I'll be taking part in a 24 hour live stream on October 19th to benefit various Children's Hospitals in the Children's Miracle Network. Something I would like to do is stream a few pugs during the event with some top players. It'll be an entirely new crowd for this event, so it'll benefit you guys as well. I'd like the games to be as balanced as possible so people can see why this game is so incredible. (As well as why I'm so bad at it.)
You guys will be part of an event with a pretty stellar cast. We have developers from Hi-Rez (Tribes/Smite/Global Agenda), Zombie Studios (Blacklight Retribution), Adhesive games (Hawken) and Runic Games (Torchlight 2).
Let me know who all is interested and will be able to do something like this. It would mean alot to me and the guys I'm running the event with. I'll sign your mousepads at LAN.
mochaTwitchTVJohnI had you guys up there for as long as I could. Promoted via my personal social media as well as Twitch's social media. Tough weekend with the Riot S2 finals, but it went really well. I think alot of new fans of TF2 were made because of that game.
Saw these when I was doing the tweeter thing during the game. Thank you so much for helping get word out there; it means so much to us. :)
but I hate all of you
lanskyi'm not sure we've ever had this many viewers for a non-lan match, thanks everybody.
anybody know what specifically is attracting all the viewers? is it the weekly match schedule? hype? what can we do better next time to continue this?
What you can do better is keep having games like this every fucking night and you will all be rolling in internet money
