#51 ESEA League S15 - EU TF2, MAIN DIVISION $90k+ in Prizes in News
HallowIf people can afford to buy a high end PC they can afford premium.

Not necessarily. Imagine it's a kid 18- with a pc offered by his parents, and their parents probably won't allow or won't think its funny 6$ a month to play videogames

What Im saying is that Europe isn't the US, neither economically or mentality wise, so better be prepared for it.

#47 ESEA League S15 - EU TF2, MAIN DIVISION $90k+ in Prizes in News

I'm gonna be a party pooper here but if ESEA really wants to get into the EU scene they have to mold themselves to the EU scene limitations / characteristics.

Not every country has the same median income per capita, there are eastern nations where 5$ a month would mean the world to them and the same 5$ a month in norway would be spare change. Same about player technologic or language limitations, I don't know at what point you have your infrastructure ready to accomodate EU players but for example do you have the ESEA client translated to the languages of the areas you want to target? Plenty of people in spain barely talk english, same for russians, etc etc...

I do hope you have this thought-through, it has potential and I hope it works but I wouldn't put my hands in the fire for it right now.

#40 This is what happens when a random adds me in Off Topic
KipDoes anyone else like random adds? I accept all friend requests and have honestly found some of my best steam friends that way. Sometimes they're fans of my youtube videos or just met me in a pub or lobby, but I have honestly never regretted accepting any friend request. And even I ever do, it's not like unfriending is hard.

In my profile, I say that if you want to be my friend, you have to talk to me and be ready for me to join you and pocket med you in pubs. I like meeting new people and learning where they're from, what classes they main, why they like TF2, etc. I feel like once you talk to the random adds and strangers, you find that they are people and have stories and feelings, and that makes it harder to rage against them or call them offensive names. I know it seems naive and idealistic, but that's how I justify devoting thousands of hours to this game. The people.

You are the sweetest thing Kip.

#3 I noticed this (new?) youtube function in Off Topic

They recently got a update in that added comment flags and thumbnail little annotations with the video quality and stats, since then youtube as been unresponsive as hell to me... I can't open more than 2-3 tabs without firefox all crashing and becoming unresponsive, before I could open like 10 youtube tabs with no problem-

well then in that case Mr. Scorpiouprising, ill post my email here flipperstf2@gmail.com

, if you guys want to miss out on millionaires sending you money, thats fine by me, but I'm not.

I commend your brave act but you are in for a treat of Nigerian princes and Erectile dysfunction products

Where can I get my hands on a beta key?

Player housing and guild fortresses have me sold, brings back LOTRO memories!

#31 Powerjack update -> pyro viable in 6v6? in TF2 General Discussion

honestly I don't know why the op got -fragged, it is a pertinent question, I guess blind hate for something is much easier than to rationally discuss it

#8 has it right, speed != mobility.

Altough the speed buff makes it more viable for certain strategies I still think it has a huge lack of mobility and won't be anything of useful at least in the common maps, unless another really tight map like gully appears which might make some kind of pyro to mid strat useful. Im not really seeeing it working any other way
