I'm guessing pp stands for polypropylene. I'm not sure how different it would feel, but probably a bit like the surface of a 3.5g deathadder, which is also a matte plastic.
Seeing as Beasly's casting actually became more fluent when doing the Italian mobster accent, I can only conclude that's his real voice.

There were some unprofessional moments. They didn't affect my personal enjoyment of the cast, but to new viewers it could seem amateurish.
I still think Ippz would be a good caster if he took it seriously though.
