Personally, I love it. A lot of people don't like this sort of edit, but I really do. The only clip I couldn't follow was the shared airshot (didn't realize what it was until afterwards). Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Quindaliesea- pay to play, can't even get a real season opening date or release an official map list
ugc- free to play, consistent league and match scheduling every season/week, releases map list at the beginning of each offseason
seems legit
Obviously, there are advantages to esea (LAN, prizepool, generally better players, etc), but it seems very unorganized. This may be a pretty unpopular opinion, but I'm starting to get tired of ESEA, and I've only just registered/ started looking for a team.
ESEA's decision to keep the QF in the whitelist through the last season turned (what's already pretty stalematey) LAN into a no-fun fest, at least from a spectator POV. Did you guys watch the fully charged with Killing and Kalkin? Kalkin seems almost disconnected from the wants of the community entirely (gru, minis, etc). And do bitcoins even need to be mentioned? Have we as a community just decided that it's no biggie? I don't care where the money from the mining went, it's absolutely silly that it could happen in the first place.
How can you announce the starting date to your paying customers this late? It's not hard to set dates in advance. In fact, it's a lot easier.
I get it, ESEA is the best thing TF2 has for a league right now, but it leaves much to be desired. I don't know, no one minds complaining about esea, but whenever an alternative is brought up, it gets -frags and no decent responses explaining why.
Sorry for formatting and stuff, I'm on my phone.
marteni believe it is 0=true 1=false for that command.
see if setting it to 0 works.
No, 1 is always true and 0 is always false. I think it's just a poorly worded variable. If 1, you avoid your teammates by pushing them away, if 0 you don't avoid teammates by pushing them away. I think that's how this command works, I haven't used it personally.
edit: words are hard
I use it. I started playing on it before I knew there was an alternative. I find no reason to switch away from it, works fine.
I've heard your aim can vary slightly depending on your fps if you have accel on. Anyone know if there's truth to this claim? I've just capped my fps at 133, so it's constant for me and not a big deal. Just curious.
I got 8. I can't help but think this favors people with better monitors/ ridiculous contrast settings.
diplodicusKevinIsPwnI've been using this hud for a couple days now, and I think it may be the one. Very sleek, yet it keeps the tf2 style, which is important to me. The only bit of criticism I have is that the spectator list when viewing the scoreboard only shows a couple of names. I dunno if this was intentional or not, but it makes pugs a bit less convenient.
Thanks for the awesome HUD, man.
Which scoreboard are you using? I have quite a few, and it'd be a big help if I don't have to go fishing through every one.
http://i.imgur.com/KSv30EF.jpg This one. If you don't want to change it, that's fine. It's just a bit harder to pick from 12 people in spec in pugs.
Hey there, tf.tv. I am KevinIsPwn, and I've been playing roamer for nearly a year now, and I think it's about time I start looking for an ESEA team.
Experience:
-2 seasons of UGC
--L^3, made famous by our match against GWC. Team page is now a matches-only team for some friends and I.
--NoProblem, where I all-class backed up.
-Well over 100 pugs since, mostly in house and some ESEA.
I'm ready to hop all-in to competitive 6s, and need a good team to help me improve. I'm looking for a team that is looking to do well, yet have a good time.

What actually happens, sorry. http://i.imgur.com/lgD2pup.gif I'm excited for whatever Valve is announcing. Who knows, it could be hl3.

I'm a bit late, but this video is hilarious. Same guy as team service announcements. "RIP IN PACE: STEKKI JUMPBUMP"

here's a similar type of vid, funnest part of etf2l highlander challenge for me
That kid whispering swears softly into his mic at the end is absolutely horrifying.
Okay. I sent a friend request on steam. Add me and I can tell you how things work in 6s and tell you your level (somewhere between low-high open/ which ugc you might want to consider.) It may sound lame, but finding a ugc team that you like can create a stress free environment to get the basics of 6s down.
What level are you currently? I can certainly teach the basics of roamer and 6s in general.
Cloudmaker2Reminds me of this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fq12Hswl5LY
That's the video that led to the creation of this one. I wouldn't have thought to check for their comms in the stv if it weren't for that.
ToastyTHTSteam calls anyone?
oh gosh that's terrible.
