Happy with a lot of the fixes and considerations being made. Very frustrated still with two things still

1. The relative inexperience/ "who is this" factor of the entire admin staff. Why am I to trust all of these people I've never heard of, and I how do I know they have the best in mind? There's no reason not to post an open call for highly experienced administrative staff- that's one of the few things even ESEA couldn't fuck up.

2. How so many decisions are based on private "meetings" with nameless "leaders". If your mentality is that you care deeply about the community's opinion & you're wanting to try new things and experiment in new ways (which I have always said can quickly turn into "find new ways to waste your players' time"), the least you can do for the majority of your players who just wanna play the game is to be open about decisions being made and the process behind them. I don't trust nameless, faceless invite "leaders", and I don't particularly care about using a whole week of my time playing some bullshit map or whatever because the new league "isn't scared of trying new things". It's more than that. Playing with users' time is not acceptable in a regular season. That's what pugs and voluntary off-season events are for.

each team getting a tac pause solves all the issues people have w/out deviating wildly from the rest of the ruleset (except for on viaduct i guess, but people will always hate tiny things about that map to make up for how bad they are at it, myself included)

if the option is between halftime & no halftime with no tac pause, i would hesitantly want halftime

if the option is between halftime & tac pause, i would pick tac pause easily

i went to this local french/american place and got a croissant w/ sausage, egg, and cheese on it, and it came with a lil mini muffin and orange slice and i got a coffee that was refillable and the atmosphere was really nice and it was like FIVE DOLLARS and i'm really glad someone gave me a chance to share this, because it made me really really REALLY happy and i had a lovely morning!!!!

The notion that the people and organizations that disagree with you or dislike you are worthless is deeply problematic, and it's the reason many of the people heavily involved behind the scenes of this community have such a deep disdain for you. We all work hard, we all make sacrifices, and we all love the game. You don't have a monopoly on that.

I'm excited about the league, but monopolizing and compartmentalizing should not be your goal, and it should not be RGL's goal. It's petty, even if you feel it's right. Do you think that the Newbie Mixes was overjoyed working with ESEA for as long as we did? Of course not. It was a burden. The amount of effort to replace it with something better was much more than it was worth, and would have hurt the wider community (see: CEVO). The same goes for TFTV with you right now. It's the premiere casting organization, and has great talent. There's no reason to reinvent the wheel when you have other things to worry about (which seems like you do, based on all the things listed in your post that you are working on).

As someone that has been super pessimistic about RGL things in past, I'm really hopeful this works out. This game needs a great league.
