like pitts said in #23, it's been fairly active in the moments when center has had technical problems/been ddos'd. it is going to be a bit of a push to get it populated, but i don't think it's unreasonable to see it happening.

we had, in my view, a far superior product (better AI, more gamemodes, more community-respected moderation, more streamer functionality, lots of community outreach events, etc.). but in the end, no one wanted to migrate to the new thing when the old thing still worked, had all their stats, and is what they were used to.

can't blame the users for that at all, but if this tf2c shutdown is real, that will no longer be the case

technically, yes the site is up. it has not been touched in years and has no active administration, moderation, or dev team. i will reach out to the old team and see what we need to do to be operational in the next few days, if that is even possible. wish we had more of a heads up.
