You mentioned that you're not improving with lobbies. Try out tf2pug.me (although you might get fatkidded at first) and inhouse pugs, those generally have a higher level of skill and tend to be taken more seriously. As others have said though, the best way to improve your gamesense is to search for and find a team and scrim with them

Knuckles_genericOne of the earlier versions of yahud had a small team colored spot in the corner and that was so stupidly convenient when I wasn't sure which team i was on
If I knew how to do this I'd put it in every HUD I use.
that was an entry in hudplayerclass.res afaik, should be pretty easy to replicate. whayay made it look cool by using custom vtf's but the general idea is the same
starlimedic ubercharge timer? imo its p useful when you want to know which team has the advantage but unfortunately not a lot of huds support it.
nobody does that anymore because it's broken, basically as soon as you die/respawn, the animation stops and the timer is useless which drastically reduces its usability. as long as we don't find an animation that is independent on whether you are dead/alive, nothing is gonna change that unfortunately
They already raised 1.5m 1.8m $, this is insane
they just gained 300k in one hour wtf
mathsadeven wow is on there, cmon guys give tf2 some love...
well wow was played in iem's at one point
I think omni made quite an effort to get lots of tutorials onto huds.tf, could be worth linking to
if youre looking for guides on the non-technical aspects of tf2 (class+strategy guides), theres a huge list here: http://www.teamfortress.tv/thread/18435/collection-of-resources-tips-for-6v6
MightyKhanKillfeed at the bottomDo you prefer the bottom left or right?
Most of the time you don't need to see the floor but there are going to be all sorts of people flying through the air
Bottom right because the only thing you need to edit is the y-value, but bottom left is allright too if you change the orientation from east to west

Shift, frees up the Ctrl to use for Scoreboard
Drawer_ESPThey've been updating the hud lately and the download link from huds.tf it's removed. Does anyone have the most recent version shown in this video?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK-GDCCGgL0
the hud in this thread was a recreation afaik, not the "real" hud used by tftv so unless they release that one or someone else recreates the new version, you're out of luck I suppose
