After a billion years, rk has decided to retire. I'm going to be taking over his post as the head of tf2 news from now on. The first thing I want to do is make sure we have the best writing staff possible so that you guys WANT to go to ESEA news to read the articles. I hope to get a lot more content on the site (i.e. interesting articles that aren't just preds) as well as making sure that articles come out in time. I know a lot of the complaints have been that articles just never came out or are super late and I'm going to work hard to make sure that that's no longer the case.

With that in mind, I'm looking for new writers. If you're interested in writing for ESEA TF2 news, please send off an applications with the following:

-Name/Username
-Age/Working Situation
-The division you'd like to write for
-Previous writing experience
-Idea for a new article (i.e. not pred or preview)
-An example article. This can be a preview or a pred since this will be the typical article you'll be writing.

Once you're done, go ahead and send it off to j.oksenhendler@esportsea.com. This is a paid position so it's important that you take this job seriously. Make sure you're able to commit to an entire season before applying.

By default, all invite teams are just removed from the league. I talked with other invite rosters because they wanted to be place in main instead of removed from the league. I go over their rosters with them and say ok. It's basically just to make sure there's nothing fishy or broken.

You pmed me and just asked me about the hijack rule, went offline instead of talking to me about your roster and then automatically assumed you were going to be placed in main. This is why I said you don't have a main roster. Instead of complaining on the forums and claiming you should just get one since you're taking, what I can only assume, is someone else's invite roster, you should probably just pm me.

Here's my idea

It would be a sort of invite pug except with a twist. I kinda talked about it in another thread but then it kinda popped into my head that TotH would be the perfect place to run it.

Basically grab as many invite players as you can, ideally 54 players, and have them all gathered for the event. You'd then have either the highest bidder or some sort of ticket (i.e. 1 tickets for like 100$ max 4 tickets (since you can't run that many)). You then have the people who bought into the event act as the picking captain for their team. They wouldn't play but they would pick their players. In my opinion, the dota picking is the best way to do it.

You can either have it as winning captain stays, sonme tournament style or just different matchups with each ticket granting you 1 go at it. I don't know it would be fun as fuck and I'm sure certain people would pay for expensive tickets or just run it as a raffle. The strategy of trying to pick apart your opponents team with bans while also picking a good one yourself.
