Sucks that they don't work on sv_pure 2, to my knowledge at least.

A PSU would probably rather fry any other components if it was malfunctioning like that.
GPU also wouldn't have such a wide range of dying symptoms, as most of them would only cause the graphics to be more or less weird, or you wouldn't get visual input at all.
RAM, welp, I also don't think it could have such massive effects on everything you do, but it's a possibility.
I'm fairly sure the problem lies within the motherboard; either the blackout damaging the MoBo, or the SSD messing up the drivers bad (which would be rather weird), or both.

As for confirming the suspicions about a dead MoBo, I don't really know anything else than somehow getting your hands onto a MoBo that supports the CPU you're using, and trying with that.

Afaik, you can only change stuff that's in config.cfg through game. Autoexec/class configs are the ones where you should be modifying stuff in.

Yeah, apparently I've messed up with the centering while trying to get the bleed-icons etc to work, and I'll be on it now. Sorry!

I will start doing further testing with different resolutions and aspect ratios to not goof up like this again.

Yo, I'm kissakala, a Finnish main medic/scout. Some know me mainly from ETF2L's highlander scene where I've been playing Premiership level for a very long time, but I've also recently made a debut on premiership 6v6.
I've been streaming for a bit over a year, and have managed to gather a decent amount of followers, but only now have I started growing interest in expanding my previously small-ish channel.

I'm planning on streaming official matches and pubbing mainly, but I will also stream PCWs every now and then. Also, since the Nations Cup is coming up and I'm part of the Finnish team, I'll be streaming all the games related to that.
I stream mostly around 18-22 CE(S)T, but obviously sometimes outside those times.

I know how you feel, as I used to have a really old crappy PC I played with for quite a while, and was trying to do the same thing. Unfortunately though, your best bets on increasing your FPS would be Windows XP (which is not being supported anymore), or just pretty much buying a new PC.

You can, however, get some okay-ish budget PC's for ~300-400 dollars/euros, which would be able to run the game with 75 fps. As TF2 is horrendously optimised, I can't guarantee that it's a lasting option though.

You'd pretty much have to upgrade both, and probably your motherboard+RAM as well.
TF2 uses CPU more than it does GPU, but an integrated GPU would surely be a huge bottleneck.

Edit: with both parts being so outdated, I don't think it's going to make much of a difference whether you upgrade either, as the other one will act as the bottleneck. Requires that you upgrade both.
